I have stopped at those kind of places where trucks sit out in the weeds for 30 years for sale. When you inquire about one-they are worth gold and the owner brags about how hard the are to find and so on. I never give in to a ridiculous price. You wonder why, if they are worth so much why they never cover them up or put them under a shed etc. I asked about a freightliner in Alabama and it had been sitting 15 years already and he wanted a ridiculous price for it. Gave him a fair offer-still sitting there out in sun and weeds 8 years later.

Couple of them trucks looks like they died at a very young age. Years ago I drove a Diamond like the blue & white Diamond between the black International and the white (#129) KW. All of the gauges in the Diamond was above the windshield except for the air pressure, tach & speedometer. Had a 13 speed Ranger and 8V-71 under the cab. She was a very nice handling tractor.

What a sad vid. At one time, someone bought these old trucks new, and were proud of the truck, and those trucks were the latest and greatest thing. And now they sit quietly, never to see the highway again, waiting to be turned into a soda can or something. Nobody has pride in them now, as time rots away what once was the beauty on a new truck. I think this about old vehicles when I see them in the back of peoples yards, sitting, with all that they have left are the memories and stories.

Real nice classic American iron. Like the look of cab over design, has that 60s & 70s look to them. My grandfather drove a diamond reo, mack, brockway and some old perkins. Wonderful condition considering when built and mileage. Things were made to last or get repaired today it's disposable. Take a truck or tractor made today now add 60 years to today 2079 do you think it will operate like these trucks ? No way in diabloville. Fantastic Classic Tractor/Truck Presentation 👍
