@@michaelramsey82 This is a real problem with the military version too and why they got rid of them as front line vehicles (not that they were ever actually intended to be used in active combat zones, they were supposed to be for shuttling people and things around bases or behind the lines). They have a flat bottom hull so IED's and mines just shred the thing. Many a life has been lost because of this design flaw. It was competing with a vehicle actually designed with a V shaped hull that was far mroe capable of taking a blast. It was also lighter and less wide so it fit into transport aircraft better, but it was made by some small independent company and not GMC who have more... "presuasive" means of getting contracts with the DoD.

I like how well the bright red armoured car blends in with it's surroundings

Just buying a set of used logging truck tires costs around $10k, a single one of these tires, being super niche and probably custom made will likely be as expensive as that set of used logging truck tires. The bumper could probably be fixed to a workable point with very little money, but if you wanted to replace it so it's back to factory spec, again, custom part will be expensive. It probably also damaged or destroyed the rear drive shaft, which again, expensive

The back right wheel actually comes off the rim at the end but the dirt cloud covers it up. Surprised I didn't see any comments about that. Even so the big bastard took a couple pounds of high explosive and drove off. Makes ya feel better for our soldiers who've gotta drive these beasts into combat.

Don't be gullible. They placed the explosives partially buried next to the rear wheel thus causing less damage compared to STRAPPING the explosives to the underside of the hummer. It's all staged for viewers pleasure.

This has actual utility. In the event you’re under fire and you need to jump back into the vehicle for cover you don’t have to lean out or reach to close the door. You can hop deeper in the vehicle or concentrate on immediately driving providing valuable life saving time as well.
