I had 2 hx2 15's stolen out of my mustang with box and amp back in 2002. I never bothered with audio again. Factory for me. Now I'm contemplating doing it again. Thinking about searching for 3x 10 hx2's on ebay or something to have some nostalgia and booms. There are so many good subs out there. I can't see myself buying the newer rockfords although they are probably fine. I like the old made in america stuff.

Awesome setup my friend. 👌 I love all the old school gear. Those were great amps but my personal favorite were the 2nd gen Punch amps. Those things were bulletproof. I had a Punch 150 from that era that I ran 2 ohms mono for years on a set of gold letter Kicker C12's. It ran hot and shut off maybe a couple times but it never failed me.

Clean install. Held up great over the last decade!

CMC Car audio 1989 from Dallas had a similar story of a Honda Hatchback that had 6 15" of same design of build 6 Kenwood amps plus a word board that illustrated the contents of build. Carter high and Kimble football game . Come through bumping, 1 and 1 -2 Live Crew. Don't remember the head unit couldn't get close enough to look inside from the amount pressure that pushed you away from car was insane
