The Defender is iconic,the G-Wagon is iconic,the grenadier is not and will never have the legendary status the Defender has!

What complete nonsense. Legacy and heritage is not born. It’s developed over years of proven service and delivering in difficult situations. Neither the G wagon or defender were born with legendary status. They had to earn it and likewise the Grenadier will in the coming years develop its own identity, heritage and legacy. Your comment makes you sound like an envious old defender owner that cannot afford a new Grenadier. Sour grapes

@@ronaldrrootiii6040 The Grenadier has greater ground clearance at 264mm compared to the Mercedes G Wagon at 241mm you can look up the stats & compare, so your opinion does not correlate with the truth.

​@DanMasterBlaster I'd have a Grenadier over a g-wagon or defender, new or old, but I think the clearance issue is more to do with the long wheelbase. Probably doesnt matter all that much seeing as it will most likely be adopted as an urban cruiser like the original range rover, most offroading it'll do in the real world is driving across a wet field. Could be solved with a slightly larger tyre profile but a Grenadier 90 would be pretty cool.

G Wagon is great if you have 300K and the $$$ to upgrade things like the 32" rims. Someone already did portals on a Grenadier, and damn its sexy.

And the new Jeep Rubicon can out flex and out climb all of those not wanting to flip over as easily and completely Factory

With no space for gear, endless line of weak components that must be upgraded, cant tow, cant work.

Old Defender is awesome G wagon is best by far in every way Grenadier is too new still and has low ground clearance New Defender is a steaming pile of crap covered in plastic and even the performance sucks when it's not breaking down with the lack of articulation and low profile tires

You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. Mercedes G Wagon ground clearance at 241 mm is a lot less than the Ineos Grenadier which has 264.16mm ground clearance. Both are fantastic vehicles, but the Ineos has been designed to have better approach, break over and departure angles than any other live axle, coil spring suspension vehicle. Given time it will develop its own legendary heritage. The Defender wasn’t born with a legacy, it was developed over many decades.

The other issue, is the breakover is far Better on the Grenadier then the others. Seems odd, but it is. However it has normal tires and no 22" bling blings like the G Wagon. Getting rid of those Blings Blings on the Defender and G Wagon would be a nightmare. On the Grenadier some new Springs for and easy lift and new tires when the stock ones wear out and we are done. And its not 200-300K like the G

Grenadier won't be a legend because it can't find itself, it's just a mix match cat that stole the defenders design
