Nice guide, will try doing this on mine next month. :)
Nice an simple!!! I had an horrendous time yesterday trying to get the filter off, access is soooo damn tight
cool video bro keep them coming mate
14:16 3.9 Thought I was going crazy the first time 3.9 litres got my ST to full on the dipstick! Manual says 4.1L, but 3.9 gets you bang on every time.

Yess same problem for me 4.1 L is far above max on dipstick
Good video,from my experience on cars,take the oil filter off wen the sump plug is still off,it releases the rest of the oil from the engine and sump,just my experience,also take the oil cap off the engine,a good bit more oil will come out of the sump then,good job tho.

I did remove the cap, sorry I didn't include that and the order was slightly funky aha. Thanks for the advice though!!!
Hi there, how did you clean the engine? looks pretty nice
I use the Millers Nanodrive ct+ 5w 40 its suitable for fast road/street modified engines, race, rally, sprints, and climbs. Could be one for the future 👌

Sparkplugs were changed with my service at ford not that long ago :)
Hi Car Rambles, Is the axle stands okay to put in that position? I've always jacked the car up from the sides so not sure where to place them at the front.. and also where would the jacking point be? Thanks.
@CarRambles

Front beam, back beam or the door sills at the side (pinch weld) are all ok to jack up from, yeah as long as they are wide enough apart axle stand wise then it'll be stable
Big fan of the channel brother. Bought myself a white st after watching all your videos. Looking to go stage 2 is there chance I could message you and ask what your experiences were like with the process and the outcome?

Cheers bro. Given you a follow will shoot you over a dm soon
The 5w30 has more viscosity at high temperature than the 5w20. The higher the number the more viscosity. The 20 thins out more at high temps.

Hence gone for 30 as I feel my engine is working a bit harder in the summer and being stage 2 :)

I bought a quart of Motorcraft 10w 30 and I never had to add any at 153,000 but still check it just in case

Of all the cars definitely the worst filter to take off you can’t not make a mess

It's an awful position that's for sure
Mines is 2017 stage 2 revo, but manufacturers recommend 5/20. And this is what I used. I'm I doing wrong

No.... the FiST specifies 5w20 or 5w30.... looking at the ecoboost engine I'd stick to 5w20 as 5w30 is not ideal for hard runs as it's too thick to get to all the areas quick enough. Others say 5w30 is better as the 30 offers more protection esp for tuned and turbos but knowing this engine is made for being punished (as an ST) I'm sure Ford know what's best for their engine. 5w20 for me
@CarRambles

Fair play. They don't mention In the manual about abusing the engine with tunes, track days, drag strip's, stage 4 builds with engine rebuilds and turbos that are hitting 400bhp in an engine designed for 200bhp.
@meddylad

@@CarRambles True true..... but the worry is if the 30 weight can reach all the tight tolerances and areas being a bit thicker which results in oil starvation or if 20 is just too thin to give protection. Plus the 30 is gonna rob you of a few horses too BMW M4s and Golf Rs that pump out 400+bhp use 5w30 but these are bigger engines so i think its reasonable a 5w20 should be good up to the max mods you mentioned Im happy to be convinced to use 5w30 if you got the rationale

Hey it makes zero difference to me what you or anyone else decides to use 🤷🏻♂️ completely your choice 😉
Good work man. But you fucked up using poor quality Castrol oil. Next time give some trully synthetic PAO or Ester based oil for that beautiful car, not poor quality HC-Synthese Castrol.
Officially by Ford the motor takes 4.05 Liters

There's always going to be some oil left in the sump, in my experience about 200ml / 0.2 quarts.
