I'll say it again: they're about to kill stolas soon. They've put such a huge focus on him and their counterpart relationship, ozzy and fizz, as well as all the villains and antagonists that have reason to ruin/end blitzø and/or stolas that it seems pretty inevitable that Stolas is about to die. Plus, the song to his daughter being a huge reference to when he dies and the larger focus they've placed on her (both in show or Stolas mentioning her-like when he threatened Striker to never mention or go near his daughter) as well as the extremely emotional talk between Octavia and Loona where she says "why does he hate her more than he loves me?" makes me 100% believe she's going to be a huge playing part in his death as he's forced to choose saving her or being with/saving Blitzø. I'm calling it.

Stolas may be one of the Lords of Hell, but he has an Angelic heart. After what happened when Blitzo ran away from Fizzarolli and his own mother as she burned to death, he holds in his past~

Blitz' walls were definitely fully put up after everything that had happened after the circus, because after he left is when you kind of notice that he did things like date Verosika and end up committing crimes

The walls are because he hated himself, he accidentaly killed his mom and doesn't think he deserves to be loved. Even if he relieves love, he is afraid to hurt someone else, like Stolas

⁠@@feliperuiz7458this is right on point. He doesn’t feel any self worth or is worthy of love. So he closes off people like Stolas because he thinks he just a toy to him, a rich person using someone of lower class. His past really does make him who he is now.

Blitzø doesn't believe he deserves to be loved. Stolas had 2 other songs I can think of - Owl in a Cage and You Will be Okay, which is achingly beautiful imo.

When watching this series and listening to this song, Blitzø has this issue where if he gets close to love, he'll see the person (or in this case, demon) he loves hurt and closing that wall signifies that he doesn't want that pain on anyone close to him again.

To explain why Blitz has a wall is simple This comment has spoilers below. In Season 2 Episode 6 when Blitz was flashing back to when he accidentally caused the fire which scarred himself and did irreparable damage to Fizzarolli the fire also spread beyond that tent and went to the tent his mother was in causing her to die so between hurting his best friend and being the reason his mother passed he feels he is not worthy of love.

I was hoping you would do a reaction to this new HB music vid eventually Scoot! Seeing Stolas finally articulate his true feelings for Blitz through song was ever so satisfying! But Stolas giving Blitz the Asmodean crystal will be the real moment of truth.

blitz thinks hes unable to love or be loved and started doing his thing, selling himself to get what he wants while stolas loved the thrill, cause he was forced to marry stella who insults and bullies him 24/7. stolas developed feelings but blitz doesnt realize it, thinking its just a sexual thing for benefit - i think that summs it up? im sure there will be a solution and im so ready for it xD

U mentioned it but I'll talk further abt it. So basically, blitz and stolas made this deal or smth to do the sideways tango once a month or smth in exchange for the book. So I believe that Blitz thinks that Stolas is js using him. Sexually and js for kicks. Of course we all know that when Stolas speaks to Blitz in a patronizing? way, Stolas is actually js showing affection, but cuz no one else has ever been affectionate with him (both his dad and wife), he doesn't know how to express himself. So it's mostly a misunderstanding. Stolas tries his best, trying to be affectionate towards Blitz and thinking this arrangement is bringing them closer together. But it js makes Blitz think that he's being used. So Blitz can't trust what Stolas, a rich guy, at the top of the food chain is saying to him, what could he possibly like in an imp?

Fun fact, this song was originally a fan song, and it was so good they made it cannon, and they give credit to the original creator in the credits

Blitz is afraid of being attached and getting hurt

Blitz wants to be loved but feel like he doesn't deserve to be loved. As when he was about to confess his feelings to fizz he accidentally set the Circus on fire which burned and took fizz's arms and legs and heavily implied that it also killed his mother. So Blitz has a massive amount of F up things going on where he doesn't believe he deserves love so he ruins all his relationships so he knows why they failed instead of them failing while he is trying to make it work. Stolas giving him the crystal will remove all the power Stolas has in this relationships so depending on how Stolas tells Blitz whether he admits to f@(!

It's funny that everyone is saying it's "just blitzo" keeping the wall up. Yes and? First episode after the Pilot airing, Blitz is essentially forced to fuck this guy once a month to be able to do his job and the only times when Stolas wants to spend time with him, for the vast majority of that time, he (stolas) is horny for the imp. The feelings are never reciprocated because Blitz does not know. People act like that has been conveyed to this level. If Stolas actively sang this to Blitz, willing to bet things would change.
