It's from a KZread series called Helluva boss, it's a adult cartoon for mature audiences only. I highly recommend watching the entire thing this video itself is a standalone music video that was first written by a fan paranoid DJ and just made canon.

A little more about the background of the show, it is set in the Helluva-verse. (Hazbin Hotel is also set in the same universe) There are seven rings of hell and in each ring there are certain native born species, like the imps. The pride ring is the top ring of the Helluva-verse and is the only ring that the sinners reside in, and they are the only ones that cannot travel to the other rings of hell. Each ring represents one of the seven deadly sins. Each ring is ruled by one of the seven embodiments of the sin. And I think that's as much as I can get into without spoilers.

It is fun and amazing how this song somehow broke out from the Vivzie fandom and people who don't know anything about the series are watching it too. Like the 2minute Notice and rest didn't seem to be leaking out to the internet.

I can't help but giggle at the idea of people watching this music video, and being drawn in by it's beautiful animation, and heart-wrenching performance, and wanting to see what it all means... ...and then seeing Stolas in the pilot 😏

Bryce Pinkham is a Tony-nominated Broadway actor. That alone can tell you how talented he is.

I genuinely love seeing people who havent seen the ehow react to this because they can feel the emotion and recognize the talent but they are like the hell is going on right now and i just love it

Fun fact: Stolas, the singer for this song is based on a demon from the real life ars goetia of the lesser key of Solomon; in which he is described as an owl wearing a crown- when summoned he is supposed to teach you about the stars

Helluva Boss has a lot of famous voice actors/broadway singers in its cast, so lots of good songs so far ❤ (though this one is definitely my favorite so far, it made me and many other Helluva Boss fans cry for these 2 characters)

Its an independent animated series now over half way through its second season. To say its amazing is an understatement. Helluva Boss and its bigger sibling Hazbin Hotel did a lot to initiate the inde animation boom. Hazbin Hotel was the studio's bigger project and while they shopped that one around for backers they went ahead and produced the side project Helluva Boss. And it was amazing. They benefited from the pandemic due to Broadway being shut down meaning a lot of great singer/performers were looking for work. And Helluva Boss picked up a bunch of main line performers to play various rolls. With lots of singing strewn all over the place. There is even more buzz going on about Vivziepop (the person behind the shows) due to the bigger show finally coming out this January. Hazbin Hotel got picked up by A24 studio and has been in production for a while now and is finally seeing its big release next month. People are freaking out about it finally being here. You can catch its Pilot as well as the rest of the Helluva Boss series at Vivziepop on KZread. Neither pilot for Helluva Boss or Hazbin Hotel are considered canon. But you can see where it started from.

To give you a bit of an idea of the (rather sporadic) tone of the series; Helluva Boss is about a small group of free lance assassin imps in hell, who make a living by taking jobs from sinners to axe someone who’s still alive for them by travelling from hell back up to the mortal realm. The titular Boss is the main imp, depicted as the red constellation in this song and the singer, Stolas, is the sole reason (up until now) that the group have been able to run their business.

4:34 Bryce Pinkham originated the starring role in A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, which is an operatic dark comedy musical, if you’re looking for some of his "classical" work. Most triple-threats (song/dance/act) are classically trained, with ballet and choral music being the start of a lot of our training. 😊

My favorite musical, I wish it would tour again! I was lucky enough to go last time it went through here, though I don't know if he was performing the role at the time. Such a great show!

This is my absolute favorite KZread animated series. It’s beautiful animated, and the voice acting is top tier. I mean what else would you expect with voices like Brandon Roger’s and Bryce Pinkham. The music is also amazing, as you saw in this music video. Each episode usually has a song or two, so you could consider this show a musical. (The vocalist here is Bryce Pinkham, and he voices Stolas, the owl guy in this music video, for the actual show.) Fair warning, Helluva Boss is mature and I mean mature. There is more swearing than family guy and other adult shows, and the gore can be kinda heavy at some points. You can expect, nudity and sexual themes as well (tho it’s usually meant to be humorous). So yes, this show is very much a 18+ show. It’s not at all suited for children, even the more lighthearted episodes. With that being said, Helluva Boss isn’t all swears and gore. It knows how to be serious, and the emotional moments hit hard. This show will make you laugh your ass off, possibly cry, and say what the fuck all in one episode. It’s a rollercoaster but oh so worth it. I prefer this adult comedy over any other adult comedy I’ve seen on TV.

I notice plenty of people have already suggested for you to check this show out, which is great! Sometimes i forget there's people who've really never heard of this show before, but it's definitely worth the experience! Vivziepop is the creator of Helluva Boss, and is also currently working on a TV series set in the same universe called Hazbin Hotel which is coming out next year! Both shows can be watched separately, their stories are completely unrelated to each other as far as we know. But, if you ever wanna check out Helluva Boss, definitely go for it! It's still in progress (currently in season 2 right now), so there's plenty of new things to look forward to :) It is an adult rated show, as you know, so it does contain depictions of violence and even sexual themes. But the characters and plot have variety and definitely develop alot deeper through the series! I'm glad this music video has been introducing new people to this show, it's amazing! Bryce is a fantastic singer 💙

I'm a big fan of this animation series. This video's lyrics are altered a bit from the original released in 2021. These changes are made to meet the actual state of the series. That's why I've been crying after watching this the first time. When you know the background it hits a different way.

hey! i commented on your friend's video, so i'm going to copy paste lol helluva boss is a youtube indie animation for adults with lots of swearing and gore, but it is too an emocional and character-driven story; the animation is professionally done and the writing is great, it is also very inclusive: from many lgbt+ characters to deaf characters. if you are going to watch the show, i recommend you to start with episode 1, there's a pilot but it is no longer canon (there's so many things that were changed like the plot and the characters' personalities).

Really cool to see people find out about not just this song but about Helluva Boss as a whole! Just so great. As others have already pointed out Helluva boss itself is an adult animated series, produced independently by a collective on KZread lead by the animator Vivienne Medrano (or Vivziepop) with no involvement from any studios or media corporations. It's the most popular and succesful animated series to be independently made to date. The show itself revolves around a wisecrackin demon imp, lowest of the low species in Hell named Blitz. He's trying to make a name for himself and have started an assassin business where he on request from Sinners who died and went to hell, go up to earth himself and kill whoever they requested. However for him and his workers to get from hell to earth and back he needs a magical book, a grimoire, belong to a Demon prince named Stolas (the owl character in the music video). The 2 make an arrangement that once per month they have a one night stand in exchange for Blitz being able to use the book for his job. But lets just say without going into spoilers that theres more to it than a transaction. The show can be very funny and crude and violent, but it isn't afriad of holding back where it hurts the most. Emotionally. This song being a perfect example, but many episodes will probably have your eyes getting wet. So far 15 episodes plus a pilot have been released across 2 seasons, the latter of which is halfway done now. Each epsiode being anywhere between 15 and 30 minutes long and including at least one original song each (sometimes as many as 4). Much of the cast . If you're curious and want even more from Vivienne Medrano and her characters in Hell and musical numbers, then she also has another show in the works called Hazbin Hotel that's premiering its 1st season on Prime video next month. You can already hear one of its songs "A happy day in Hell" if you look for it on KZread. Many of the characters for Helluva Boss were originally thought up as side characters for Hazbin Hotel, but the cast simply got so large that Helluva Boss was created as a separate series for all of these characters and their own stories, which has stayed on KZread as an indie production (and become a smash hit in the progress).

Luv seeing people that don't know what helluva boss is. Its just because it's bloody good 😊

Helluva Boss is a cartoon show on youtube on Vivzipop's chanel that cater for a more older audience(16+ I think), a lot swearing, bloody/gory action scenes and emotionally packed scenes. It's not for everyone but if you are interested you are in for a show with a wonderful cast of characters.

Also fun fact: this was originally a fan made song by PARANOiD DJ

@@zlizgirl personally I like going in blind. Allows me to be genuinely surprised. If I had known this was an award winning singer my expectations would have immediately would have been higher which may have made me not enjoy the song as much. Also I’m someone who doesn’t really like musicals so that would probably also put a sour taste in my mouth. But now I watched, I enjoyed and am currently watching the show (reactions coming soon) because I blind reacted

KZread has been giving way to a lot of really good indie animation out there. This is one of a few that have come out on KZread that are incredibly good. Murder drones, the amazing digital Circus. To name a few.
