It's common knowledge that MCR was formed as a direct response to 9/11, basically them wanting to make a difference and saying "The world sucks and I am pissed off about it", and after a world-changing event like Covid-19 and now war in Europe for the first time in 80 years; I think it's safe to say that the world sucks right now... and people are pissed off about it... so what a better time to welcome back the black parade

It was the fact I was getting new mcr related content in my feed that wasn't just old stuff iv seen over and over again since the age of 13 😂 and its really taking me back and I'm slipping back in to what I enjoyed when I was a kid

So sad some people are surprised this is good and sounds the way it does... put some respect on their names! MCR have always been good!

100%. I would have sooner expected one thousand other random things to happen today, but definitely not this. The fact that I'm hearing new My Chem in 2022 is everything.

This track has a fusion of all their solo & side projects as influences paired with a blend of the best of all their previous albums. I was simultaneously giddy & in shock the entire time I listened to this song for the first time. I had to check to make sure I wasn’t imagining shit. Definitely a pinch me I must be dreaming moment as a die hard My Chem fan.

That transition from the breakdown to the chorus

I'm glad as a metalhead, this is the first MCR song (aside from the obvious couple) that I've listened to, and I'm totally into it. Let me embrace the chemicals. Even if it does sound a lil bit like 90s 'Tallica mixed with some Architects with a sprinkling of 30 Seconds to Mars, I'm here for it. Gerard Way is 45!!! If you listen to their first album, this is straight up MCR! ‘Tallica is in fact one of their influences so of course, that’ll bleed through, but the chord progressions are way more reminiscent of something from the 28 Days Later soundtrack which was something they used to do plenty in the first two eras :)

this is the best case scenario like I would've never imagined they would go back to their older sound this genuinely makes me so happy

When I saw the MCR notification, I was thinking "is this some tour promo or something?" Then I clicked and NOPE, IT'S NEW MUSIC!!!! As for what I feel about the song, definitely feels like the more grungier side of the Black Parade, like "Sleep" or "This is How I Disappear", and the vocal production needs some work, but overall it's a really good song.

I respect that Bullets isn’t for everyone, but even as a young MCR fan, seeing all these comments comparing it to Black Parade makes me feel old? Like this is straight up Bullets and the feedback thing is verrrrry Revenge, love Black Parade but maybe only reminiscent to Sleep in the simpler drum patterns. Not saying one is better than the other it just feels like I’m seeing people compare Queen to Deftones

Saw MCR two nights ago at MK and can confirm, this song sound amazing live and yes, they are on top form again. I missed them so much, I’m so happy they are back.

Every emo kid from the 2000s just collectively creamed their shorts and burst into tears at the same time. And I’m one of those kids.

fuck yes the biggest blow to me was when MCR disbanded, I'd wanted to see them live for so long and then those chances just blew up right as I turned 18 almost, lets go!

I have just spent hours learning the lyrics, as I am watching them live next week and fuck them for trying to trick me into thinking I didn't know all their songs. Seriously though... I needed this so bad. I listen to them at least once a month and have for the entire last decade. To have something new is... well... music to my ears.

Imagine if they tour. We will all be in our 20s and 30s. Hair dye, spiked belts, eyeliner, ripped jeans, etc. We'll have our kids, life will be amazing 🖤
