This is definitely blue-eyed soul. He & Michael McDonald collaborated & wrote songs together. (Another blue eyed soulster) I knew you two would love this song ♥ Next up "This is it" by Kenny Loggins. I absolutely love this song! Michael McDonald's extremely recognizable voice along with Kenny's, plus jazz saxophonist David Sanborn.... yes, and thank you. 😀 I suggest his song "Celebrate Me Home" for some emotions to possibly rise up. It's a beautiful song, but also makes me a bit sad. Also "Love Will Follow" is a great slow jam. On a sadder note, did you hear about *Loretta Lynn* passing away? I thought you'd have another of her songs up today, but the day isn't over. Will you please consider watching her her life story in the movie "Coal Miner's Daughter" this Friday? I never had a chance to meet her, but she was always such a sweet and caring person from what I've seen and heard by way of the media. May she rest well.

Always loved this song. A definite change of pace for Kenny. I hope you will do "Whenever I Call You Friend", a duet he did with the legendary Stevie Nicks... or another duet, "Don't Fight It", which he did with the equally legendary Steve Perry! I expect you'll do "Footloose" when you get around to the movie. 😁 Other of Kenny's best include "Vox Humana", "Welcome to Heartlight", "Forever", and "Meet Me Half Way". (And Jay, you were half right... he did do "Danger Zone" from Top Gun, the other one, "I'm Alright" was from Caddyshack.) Fun fact - this song was written by Kenny along with Michael McDonald (Doobie Brothers) and multi-Grammy winning compoter David Foster. McDonald also plays piano and does backing vocals.

I can listen to this on repeat and when I’m alone in the car I’m belting at the top of my lungs 😂 Such a guilty pleasure! Kenny is one of the best vocalists of all time!! He’s still performing!! I’ll probably watch this again cuz I love this song 😂

One of things I love about Kenny Loggins is that he has so much variety to his music. From song to song you don't know what you'll get. But it's all good. I still wish you'd watch "Conviction of the Heart" the live version from Grand Canyon.

OOOOHHHHHH Y'all have me going down the rabbit-hole now! I HIGHLY suggest you look up "Don't FIght It" (with Steve Perry of Journey). The vocals of those two guys, on the same song, with HUGE energy....and the falsetto returns! Check it out!!!

You still need to re-visit his slower side...Logins and Messina "House at Pooh Corner", the studio version first and then "Return to Pooh Corner". There's also "Watching the River Run" and his song from "The Tigger Movie". They're all so poignant and lovely ❤️

They usually play this song during the holidays. I was in the USAF 22 years and was unable to go home for many Christmases. This song always made me feel a little sad when I heard it, but it is one of my favorite Kenny Loggins songs.

I grew up in the '80s and LOVE me some Kenny Loggins, and Michael McDonald, too! David Foster is my favorite music producer of all time! So much talent in those three guys, it's crazy! If you haven't seen it, Netflix has a documentary about David Foster called 'Off the Record'! Uh, SO good!!! He has written and produced so many of the songs you love, you just don't know it, yet! Would love to see you react to it either on your movie channel or on this one. It makes my heart smile to know younger generations love this music as much as we do! You guys are awesome, always love your reactions! ❤🎼🎶🎵🎶🎹🎷

I was introduced to Loggins and Messina in 1971 and have followed them as one of my favorite bands. On College, I volunteered with the concert committee and we had them in Houston at U of H for a concert. I was part of the group that met them when they arrived from the airport. Kenny had slipped in Kansas City and broken his arm the night before. He played the concert in a cast and without seeing it, no one would ever have known. He was so nice and they were so wonderful, I will never forget those moments. Kenny's voice is generational and his instincts are impeccable.
