Karen, you absolutely need to hear Daryl's song "Perkiomen" that he plays from Daryl's House with guest Fritz and the Tantrums. As teenagers, he would walk across the Perkiomen bridge to go to John Oates's house. My ancestors were early farming settlers in the area on the banks of the Perkiomen.

I think that there’s been a loss of the ability to appreciate musical progression within a given work as opposed to just being immediately hit with the hook, and I think that that has had cumulatively detrimental effect on people’s ability to appreciate works of music as an art the goes beyond immediate gratification. Like the current ear of pop music feels like what if people could only see pointillist paintings from half an inch away.

That's because the attention span of people is so small. Music will never be the same now as it's born of technology and not talent most of the time. It's evident by their reaction to it. They couldn't even wait a couple minutes into the song. I am sure they are nice people but they show their age........

Many young music fans don't really listen to the lyrics to songs these days. So much of today's music lacks lyrical content and quality. So many don't really listen. If they really listened to this song like Jayvee really listens to the music he reacts to, they would better understand and appreciate how the music is crafted as a whole .

J&A, you'll love their "You Make My Dreams Come True", "Kiss On My List" and "Rich Girl". Daryl has one of the great rock/pop voices. He's got that Philly soul.

Sarah Smile such a great example of how amazing their voices are 🥰 Most of their songs are kinda smooth jazzy adult contemporary I guess it's called? Some of the few sappy love songs I do like are from H&O. Non of the songs suggested are bad choices, pick an interesting title and go for it 🥰

I saw these guys in the 70's. Was one of the best concerts I have seen. They have so many songs that will make you love them. They are one of the best groups in the 70's and early 80's.

Legends ....one of the best songs ever written...if you're not feeling this you're not feeling...how you gonna listen to the first couple seconds of a song and say I ain't feeling it...🙄
