RIGHTTTT, not too long ago I was upset how there aren't any Christian comedy shows other than dry bar comedy, but I ended up finding The Promised Land which took on the inspiration of The Office (my fav show before I got saved) and incorporated it with the story of Exodus.

I hope that their will be a Gideon series soon because I think that would be a powerful series.

Looks like Christian media is having a revival. First, The Chosen, then in the UK we're going to have Testament series, & I watched a trailer of a comedy series about Moses during his journey to reach Canaan after liberating the Israelites from Egypt. Now we have a series about Paul! That's amazing!

This is maybe true, but for us Arameans it was ridiculous because we didn't understand a single word of it due to the constant mispronunciation from the actors. Imagine an American speaking Chinese without training or understanding of the language.

It starts from the Chosen, and continues to this new wonderful series.

I believe they are referring to the fact that Paul was not an apostle of Christ when the Twelve were chosen, but rather became one later, repentant of his past life persecuting Christians.

The first time it’s told inActs, the second time, the third time, and then of course there’s the completely different detail of events told by Paul himself. Then I’ll wonder why they chose one of the many versions of Paul’s conversion story over the 3 other versions of this same story

All of them were killed except for John. There were some who tried to kill him by dumping hot tar all over him but he survived.

The title suggests that St. Paul was the last Apostle, St. Paul in Rome approx 64-67 A.D. John the Apostle live into old age dying approx. 100 A.D.

Had me until a 1st century character said "Saint" despite that term being used hundreds of years later. I understand we have to use English translation of scripture for modern audiences but words like that date the script and make a weird halfway between a reliable modern English translation and old english from KJV

Dude, no need to belittle Peter. Without him, there wouldn't be Church built in Antioch & Rome. Also, tradition is important to show us the true teaching & the way of life according to Christ. So many Christians since the beginning were martyred because they were protecting the Church's tradition from heresies & oppressions.

He was not the last apostle. All bishops of the Church are legitimate successors of the apostles. They live today, although there are Pauls and Judas Iscariots among them.

When you read the books of the New Testament you have probably asked yourself many times: "Why is it that for 2000 years we have not seen the miracles that accompanied the Church of Christ in the first century as the New Testament describes them? Why is it that so-called preachers of Christ have to prove that Jesus really existed, while atheists have the audacity to deny the historicity or divine origin of Christ? Maybe because the Church of Christ ceased to exist after the first century. There is no Church as it is described in the books of the New Testament, but there are Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and other Christian sects, claiming to be the Church, but not having that one thing that distinguishes the divine from the human and is characteristic only for the Church of Christ - the backing of the word with signs, that is, miracles (Mk 16:15-20). That is why part of the researchers doubt the historicity of Christ, and part of them do not mind to declare Him a real person, but an ordinary philosopher, a teacher. But even if Jesus was an ordinary philosopher, His disciples would have been ordinary followers of Jesus. And they would not have dared to write about the miracles that not only Jesus but also His disciples could perform. If in our time there were a Church as described by the authors of the New Testament books, where miracles are performed - healing the sick, prophesying, raising the dead - no one would doubt the historicity of Christ. Then all over the world there would be the same disputes as in the first century - Jesus is the Son of God or a false prophet who seduces the world with miracles. Find on youtube the audio message *"The Mystery of the Church of Christ"* . It reveals the prophecy of the disappearance and reappearance of the Church of Christ before the End of the World, giving hope to all who are sincerely seeking God and who are not lazy to think freely.

If you read the gospels of Jesus, especially the gospel of John, you will find Jesus himself going and proclaiming himself first to a gentile woman as the messiah, healing multiple gentiles including the "Official's Son" and then entire household became believers. We encourage you to read the book of John and study who Jesus went to and did miracles with. There are many prophecies in the Old Testament about God sending a Messiah to bring ALL people from ALL nations to himself. This one in Isaiah was prophesied about John the Baptist and quoted again during John's naming. "He says, “You will do more than restore the people of Israel to me. I will make you a light to the Gentiles, and you will bring my salvation to the ends of the earth.” Isaiah 49:6.

Mmm no brother, the scriptures do not depict that at all. John 3:16, He sent Christ so the whole world may be saved. This was the greatest mystery that the Jews did not anticipate.
