The Deep was actually getting his villainy on pretty good. 1.) When the Deep got stuck on his octopus comeback, he didn't linger, instead he pointed out Black Noir. He went from goofy to serious. 2.) After pointing out Black Noir, the deep went straight to fighting. He went from serious to fighting.

After I saw the episode, I sent one of my friends a meme coming from Shrek. Basically, I put Black Noir 2, the Boys, and Annie in the meme over the Shrek characters, with BN2 saying, "I can fly," the Boys (or reslly just Butcher) saying, "He can fly," and Annie saying, "He can talk??" My friend made a comment saying it was a legitimate good meme.

i like how the deep has been portrayed as a menace. Yet he never stopped being a joke in the end. -He leads an attack against the boys with the help of black noir. Annie didnt have all her powers and she still managed to beat him with a trains help -He killed the only creature that loved him for someone that needs to be on a "brain dead like state" to touch him -He actually managed to befriend the new noir and the ultimately realizes he was also sleeping with sage( apparently and she didnt need to pierce her brain to be with BN)

The fact that A train was the one who killed Hughie’s then gf Robin and now he saves Hughie’s girlfriend Annie makes it the perfect redemption sequence

A-train fighting exactly how I expect him to do, love to see finally that day has come

I’m glad to see a-train getting a bit of redemption and character growth

That A train entry was amazing

I love the fact that A train came for ashley straight after this and despite the fact she's in dilemma she told him she can't leave and to cut of his tracker

So Noir is highly durable (almost invincible), has super strength, and can fly. If he has laser vision, then he is basically Homelander's black clone.
