12:56 omgomgomg - I used to live on Koh Rong back in 2017.. life was crazy then. To see snippets of my beloved island is incredibly healing. It’s crazy how different phases of life can be. Back then I was traveling aimlessly and (quite literally) stumbled onto this beautiful island and decided, just like that, that I needed to stay… Now, 6 years later, I am a sociologist. Looking at ways to help to contribute to understand and thereby hopefully improve society, our planet as a whole. Thanks for taking me back to this time of my life that it honestly feels hard to connect to nowadays. Even if no one ever reads this it felt so good to type these emotions out and to feel the feels :D

Hi Julia! I love how you got to experience living on an island in Cambodia. I'm Cambodian myself but haven't been back since I was a child. I'd love to experience that snap and "yep, I'm settling here" moment like you. May I ask, what do you do as a sociologist? I graduated with a sociology degree and feel like I've gone off course in the job field, losing steam, and wanting to get back to my roots. I'd love to hear more about your adventures. I love that you went into the countryside and little villages. This is where my family and I lived before the war. My mom met my dad in the beautiful rice fields while my mom was harvesting rice. I would take the off grid living in the countryside and the houses on stilts over city living any day.

Hanna, you are me if I was about 45 years younger. Love all the giggles you girls have. It's infectious! I absolutely love ALL your videos! Hosting this travel trip was epic. Y'all girls travelled a life times worth of places in the short time you were there! Honestly I wish I had followed my gut when I was a very young adult and done the backpacking and NEVER listened to the ones telling me no you can't do that. What little backpacking I did was fun and I got to see so many epic places in the good ole USA, but I wanted to do EXACTLY what you're doing! Happy trails and safe travels to you and your new friends!

I love how you got to some amazing out of the way places, didnt have too many troubles, had good guides etc without being too touristy. Could you do a general video on how you planned your trip without giving any places away so too many people travel there or something but just maybe websites, the types of tours you liked the look of or how to go about coordinating getting to more out of the way places just general tips to make a nice easy going trip safe and relaxing as much as it can be 😊

Did you NOT see Ankor Wat or did I miss a video? This looked marvelous! Of all the nations I've traveled the Kmer and the Scots top the list of most charming and kind people to visitors, in that order. Oh and Kmer cuisine is so good! But I laighed when you said you had Burritos in Cambodia 😂 They didn't have them when I was there 10 years ago lol. Never been to Hong Kong, hope you have a great trip!
