I used to live in Santa Teresa its so fun, used to not be touristy at all either ❤. This is making me so nostalgic... my old roads and views 😭I can't believe you went to the beach at night in ST! Used to be incredibly dangerous... glad you were safe and it was cool seeing my old home.

Oh my gosh I love Costa Rica! I was there a year ago and it was amazing! Between the ocean, fresh food, the communities, and the jungle there is magic everywhere you look. Also I just realized that right now I am wearing the exact same earrings you are:)

Wow. This commentsection is baffling. The very moment I turned 16 I bought myself an interrail ticket good for any trains and ferries in Europr for 6 weeks and was gone! No internet, no cellphones, mid 80s and I fell in love with the world! I can't even imagine not feeling free to travel as an adult. Incredibly stifling to personal growth...

I let my kids live their life (they are grown and happy) but not sure I would let my minor child at 16 head to Europe alone for six weeks. And not sure…even with the part time jobs they had during high school - that would have funded a six week trip to Europe….

I love her spirit. However, until something bad happens, you don’t ever think it can happen to you and your world changes then. It did for me and I am a lot less trusting and free. Bad things do happen to good people. Be safe Hannah!
