I’m so happy and excited that I found this. I am getting ready to lose all of my long beautiful hair unfortunately, and I’m just sick about it. I was looking for something cute and whimsical that I could make myself and wear at home, as it’s still chilly and I honestly don’t think I’m going to feel comfortable with a bare head. Thank you so much for doing these videos. They will be tremendously helpful to this experienced beginner.

Thank you for sharing this, my grandsons loves octopus stuffed toy he took from puppy he wears on head, he's 2 years old so I've been looking for a hat I could crochet for him. With my physical disability it will take me some time to do it, but it will be worth the joy to see his face.

Thanks for doing this video. I had found the written pattern on-line but couldn't make heads or tails out of it...and I am an experienced crocheter (if that's even a word lol). Your explanation of the pattern is good for the most part (I was confused on one part of your explanation and even watching I couldn't quite make out what you were doing but I just continued to listen and it soon became clear again). I have been following along and crocheting with you and I'm very pleased with the outcome. My great-grandkids are going to love their hats.

My mom took and started with the black yarn for the pupil and then went around and finished the eyeball in white and stuffed it before closing it off

Thank you for your time in making this video to share with all of us. in row 4, when working, the 17 double half crochets, I’m not quite sure if you are working DHC into the back loop, front loops or both loops. Can you please clarify as I’m not able to clearly see in your video..Dianne from Australia

Hello! If the question is about the tentacles I did work only on the "outside loop" (back loop) to help give the curly shape. Everything else was both loops. Hope that helps! Sorry if still vague. ^_^'

Yeah bad video i needed the up close for the tentacles. You just ran into it and did the work no explanation and for that i haven't even begun tentacle attachments because i haven't been able to get a proper count. Thanks for great instructions up until I absolutely needed it whole project abandoned unless I can make magic happen.

Your work keep on moving away from the camera, can’t really see what you’re doing
