So far so good. The video is a great complement to the pattern. I wasn't sure I could handle it but it's going well so far.

Your Burlap Chap was my first pattern purchase in 7 years. I had so much fun making it so I bought Bone Daddy and Twisted Kraken before I even finished the first one. You rock on every level. I just wanted you to know that I appreciate what you do and how you do it. I'm your new fanboy. I had forgotten how much fun I could have doing crochet until I came across your designs. Thanks for that.

Watching this will allow me to know if I'll understand how to make one so I can feel more comfortable about buying a pattern. I've only been crocheting for almost a year and fancy pants patterns are still quite new to me. Thank you for allowing us newer crocheters a chance to see if we can understand. This is so kewl and exciting! Hehe I feel so kewl because I know what you mean when you use abbreviations lol.

I think I took your word too literally to keep the tension tight while crocheting the tentacles together. I’ve had to play with the tension quite a bit to get the right amount of curl without sacrificing length. Still having fun with this project and really grateful this video exists!

Once you pull down on them, they will elongate also ( keep that in mind incase you hadn't done that).
