last year (2019) I saw this pattern and really wanted to try it. the problem was, I didn't know how to crochet. so, I taught myself through KZread and today, I have a successful crochet business all because of this video. now, I am very happy to say that in October 2020, I am able to make this hat. thank you fiber flux, you inspired me.

@@donnamayo8504 that's so great to hear! im actually 12 so im a bit young, but my older cousin loves selling things so she sells them for me. she uses the selling website called "depop" and it Is super easy to use! once someone orders something, you just ship it out. hope this helps! if you need anything else, just ask :)

If you're new at crocheting and only have a 5mm or 6mm just add more chains and rows to get desired look

I've recently started crocheting again, I've done a few hats from KZread but this is the nicest. I used Aran wool, 4.5 hook, casted on 70 loops and it's a good fit. As for the crocheting into the back of the stitch, I found this a bit difficult for me, so I turned the work to the back side and just went into the front of the stitch instead then turned back onto the right side. Worked out really well. A bonus being able to use both sides of the hat, they're both very attractive. Thank you for taking the time to upload.

I started to crochet about year ago and just finished this hat. Special thanks for clear instructions. This wasn’t even beginners tutorial but since you explained so well, I think that even those who have just started to exploring wide crochet world could do this hat. Very nice! My 9 yr old granddaughter is learning to crochet and I've been looking for cool ideas for her. I think she can do this with maybe a little bit of help but probably she'll just need a little supervision so I can check her work row by row so she won't have a lot of frogging.
