This is the easiest pattern I found to be able to follow! Your narration is wonderful; not too fast, not too slow, clear and articulate. Thank you!

I love instructor's who teach at a comfortable pace. Not too fast, not too slow. She is perfect.🧶🍰
I found that using the medium weight 4 yarn with a 6mm hook that 74 chains for the base equalled 23 inches circumference
Thank you for this tutorial! I am a beginner and was able to do this hat with no problems. Everything about this tutorial is spot on - clear explanations, lighting, camara angle, close-ups, and pacing. I'm starting on my second slouchy immediately.😊😊
Omgoodness. This is the BEST and EASIEST tutorial on a slouchy beanie. I can't thank you enough. The others were just so complicated. Great colors, lighting, voice and speed. I'm going to start NOW. Thanks Jennifer ❤️
My favorite style beanie ❤ Thank you!!!
It's very cool and modern. Thanks Jennifer 💚
Thank you for the clear instructions. Love this slouchy beanie❤❤
Thanks for this tutorial, I'd never successfully crocheted a hat before and it turned out great :)
I've made three slouchy's this fall/winter and this is the first slouchy I've made that actually looks like the photo says!
Love this slouchy! Thank you for posting. Great, easy to follow. :)
Thank you Jen.
Oh my goodness. I ❤ this pattern and your instructions.
Very nice Jennifer! Love the design. Thanks for sharing!💞
Loved watching...learned a few new things and cant wait to make! Just in time for winter!
Oh it's gorgeous 😍
This is perfect!!! I found some brand new wool yarn that is cream at Goodwill of all places and scooped it up for .99 and I made this is an afternoon. This is going to keep me so warm on my walks with my pup. Thanks for your time
Beautiful, just love it
Will be making this lovely simple patteran in a bright colour to match my winter coat
Thank you, for taking your time I was able to keep up, and I will post as soon as I'm finished today
Thank you sooo much ❤
I am waiting for this! ❤❤❤thank you ❤❤❤
I need a hat like this in my life!!!!!
I'm making this to go with an infinity scarf that is also V stitches to wear with my winter coat. It's so nice to have the video to refer to. My inherited yarn isn't marked and is a finer gauge so took 76 chains to get to 20 inches for my small head. The pattern is so easily adjustable.
This might be my new favorite slouch hat
I just finished making one of these for my partner and he absolutely loves it! Super easy pattern and the first slouchy beanie I’ve made that’s had just the perfect amount of slouch to it. Fantastic pattern!
love it!!! thank you!!
I achieved a really nice result. It's a great base. I'm currently making a pea 🫛 hat.
Cute hat! Love this yarn, I use it a lot😊
Very pretty hat.
Came out great
Awesome ❤👌👍
Love it❣️👍👍
It looks so easy...many thanks...will definitely try it❤
Thank you so so cute❤❤
That is a beautiful slouchy hat
I just made this! It is much shorter because I used the yarn I had left over from creating the Island Lace Scarf (I made it into an infinity scarf using the pattern). I absolutely love it!! It is so cute even at a shorter length!! Now I have a matching scarf and hat using two of your fabulous patterns!! Thank you so much for these tutorials!!
Thanks for sharing 😊
Just in time, I'm excited to start making this. Thank you for sharing. 😊 Have a great weekend 😀

Hi Jennifer. This looks easy and fun. Thanks you. Deszie (Deszies Crochet Cubby)
How are you coming up with 22 in circumference from chaining 56?
This is lovely! I am wondering if the foundation chain could be worked in the back loops or would that change the effect?
Love this slouchy beanie, but want to know if you do something just like this, but for males. Perhaps this is a bit too lacy for a boy/man. Alternatively could I change the 'V' to some other stitch that won't change the size etc. Thank you
Anybody else’s hat coming out wide af, and not like a narrow tube?? I tried 4x with different kinds of yarn. Like….I am so confused.

Yes!! I ripped it out 3 times and finally ended up weaving in some round elastic on the band. Could be cute but too many increases.

Try using a smaller-size crochet hook, or try starting with a shorter starting chain. Everyone crochets differently, so what works for me might not work for you. You might even need a different yarn, but just don't give up!!

I’ve tried following two other You Tubers videos to no avail. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!!! 😆😆😆😆
Just wondering if i can just add more stitched to make the brim bigger or does it have to be in multiples of something?

This is what I need to know as well. 56 just isn’t cutting it for my noggin 😂
How many stitches would i start with for a toddler, 18.5 head circumference?
I don't know what I am doing wrong but when I join rows after doing my FPDC it is messy looking. Do you have any advice for me? I love your tutorials.
Can this be done with 24/7 cotton?
Hello, thank you for sharing your video. My question is, if you're using a super fine very thin yarn, is the pattern the same Or would adjustments have to be made? (Using a 1.5/2.25 size crcht hook)
Im asking as a beginner,, then when shall we measure around our head?? the chain at beginning is for what size?
Will 6.5 size needle work for this
Could you start this out with foundation double crochet? Instead of the chain @fiberflux

I would go to her original pattern mentioned in the video as she used chunky yarn for it. Probably used different hook size and chains for the chunky yarn.
Is a 3 weight yarn too small for this hat?? TYIA!!😊
Hi I did the chain of 56 but it’s to small it doesn’t mesure the 22 circumference do I know I have to make my chain bigger but do I have to make sure it ends on even number please help me my chain only go to 18 inches
What level of crocheter is this for? I'm a bit rusty and when I did crochet all I did was make granny square blankets.

I want to make this for my 5 year old granddaughter. How many chains should i start off with? My first beanie is turning out beautifully! Almost done!

Measure your daughter’s head along her hairline and then start a chain that’s about same length then continue the pattern from there.
What is causing the bottom to curl up?
Isn’t this the same as the Estelle?
My beanie is getting wider with every row. It isn't straight like the one in the video. Can someone please tell me what Im doing wrong?
I have a small head so can i use a 5 mm hook h hook?
@luvlecavalier4

I also have a small head and found that 56 chains with 6mm was the perfect fit for me. I'm making one for my mom's friend now and chained 60. So it's just really trying it on yourself before moving on to round 3. Hope this helps
The 56 chain is a bit too small n I have a small head lol 23"inch/59 cm around.... so I'd make it like an even 60 chain if ur head is the same size as mine also factor in hair volume as well too, but you can also steam the hat with a small steamer to also get the right fit...I hope this comment helps y'all 😊 have a wonderful safe day. Also to make it slouchy enough do at least 26 rounds like she did I had to count them myself because she didn't say but yeah no less than 15 depending on head size if ur head is small then 15 rounds to maybe 17 would be good for you. Good luck yall and also thank you for this video it's awesome I'm going to make a lot of these lol
My brim ended up to tight. The body did not make a tube. Kept flaring out
I seem to have far too many stitches after the first row of v's and no idea why😮😢
I'm not quite sure what happened, but using the same sized hook and yarn has resulted in a weirdly huge beanie. The tutorial is super easy to follow, but the end result looks nothing like yours unfortunately. The slouch is VERY slouchy in mine. It goes below my shoulders and looks ridiculous to me even though it measures at 13.5 inches tall. It was feeling a little long as I was making it, but the picture looked like just what I was going for in a beanie so I trusted the process. Oh well, not every project works out. But thanks for creating this tutorial and pattern!
I made sure my chain row was straight and not twisted , but after completed the first row, the chain was backwards and the circle had one twist , can anyone lmk what I did wrong? How do I avoid the fresh yarn coming through the circle?? I did everything as the video???
Mine does not look like a tube?
Hi what size is this for
❤ 🧶
why does mine look all wavy like a flower? beginner here
Did she say "meoou"in the beginning of the video
Mines looking so tiny 😢
So u did 26 rounds??
Is this video easy for beginners?
How do I adjust this for a Q hook?? 😂
My brim keeps curling
Does anybody know how to increase size?

Got it, thanks!!!
I don't understand how all rows after and including row 5 have straight sides firming a tube, when essentially a v stitch increases the number of stitches. It would have been helpful if u gave a stitch count at the end of row 5 to help keep us on track 😔
Una "piccola " traduzione in italiano no?????
