For Jeannie Wright: I too have been crocheting scarves and hats for the homeless in my city. I started last year. So far I have completed 38 sets which I have divided among 3 groups helping the homeless. I have another 10 ready. I have contacted a portable soup kitchen that serves the homeless, I thought they would be the perfect people to pass out the sets, but they didn't bother replying to my email. My 1st question to you is; are you aware of any Homeless Alliance in Ontario Canada? 2nd question how could I start one here? The need is so high. Other friends of mine have volunteered to help out in making some sets also. Thank you.

Very interesting and different look to it...tres chic.🤗 I crochet for charity and this will work up quickly. I have some self-striping and pooling yarn that I think will be perfect for this pattern and will give some nice definition to it. Thank you for a great instructional video.🤗

@janetwalsh7961 I made the hat 4 times and it is lovely. I really like this designer's patterns. She did state she was making a sample, so I did hear not only the chain quantity, but the instructions for the pattern. She works quickly and the serial counting may not always coincide with the demonstration. But, she tells you the quantity. No problem. Thanks Elena!!

Ok so it's the bpdc that creates the ridges .. Really nice!
