I thought I spied a Strand bookmark. That's my happy place. When I lived in New York I would go there religiously because they have an entire section dedicated to literary nonfiction, which is my absolute fave. I'd always leave with a bag full of books. Now I order online and my list of recent purchases resembles yours. I still have All the Light I Cannot See on my TBR too (I've think I've been meaning to read it for years now 😂). I was thinking about picking up We Have All Lived in the Castle this month since it seems like a very appropriate October read (and I love that edition that you got). I have no idea what it's about either, but I know that people love it.

I love all of Cinda Williams Chima's books they are so great!!!!!!!!!!!

Lumatere's Chronicles is definitely the best YA fantasy I've read, it's almost on par with my favorite adult fantasy series... the plot twists weren't that earth-shattering, but the characters and their interactions were amazingly well-written! I binge-read the series in like one weekend. A Court of Mist and Fury was the biggest surpirse of 2016!! I enjoyed ACOTAR but wasn't expecting much of ACOMAF, but boy my mind was blown 😍 so happy reading! You got many awesome books on your hands.. Manon also kicks ass in Empire of Storm :D

Books Beauty Ameriie Thanks for asking! Well basically anything Brandon Sanderson writes: Warbreaker (the first thing I read from him, a standalone), Mistborn trilogy and Mistborn era 2 (mind-blown), the Stormlight Archives (his genius really shows in this one, on some scales it's way better than even Mistborn!!). The Powder Mage trilogy by Brian McClellan, this is has a french revolution setting but with sorcery, I'm currently finishing the second book but it quickly became among my favorites of all time. The Lightbringer series by Brent Weeks, now this one is next on my TBR because I've heard nothing but raves and gushes from people I trust, so I thought I'd add it to this list :D A Song of Ice and Fire had the potential to be on this list, bit holy crap that was a dense read! I'm breaking my reader's oath when I say TV show is better 😂

Hmm. I think I'll give Homegoing a try. It seems to fall into the theme of books I have read or am currently reading for 2016. I plan to complete Invisible Man (currently reading), Native Son, then Underground Railroad. This book will fall in line right after that. My goal is to have read all of these books before the new year. Fingers crossed! 😆

On the Road is a book I really feel like I should have got to and haven't. I have The Paper Menagerie and am going to dip in and out of it once I have unpacked it from one of the many many boxes from moving. Homegoing I need to start again. I started it when moving. Not the right head time. We are doing a big group read of The Sympathiser on The Readers podcast, I really need to get to it. Oops. Shirley Jackson is amazing. Stealing Snow sounds amazing.
