this is my 2nd favorite version of that line. My first is from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas when Hunter and Gonzo rent a car and drive off with the rental agents pen, he throws down the clipboard and runs after them and yells Goddamn Hippies, that delivery and music playing the Bg just made it more memorable for me.

I like how the top 3 robberies all consist of one guy grabbing a load of money/chips and running for the exit. If the 11 did *anything* even slightly more complicated, they'd be fine

One of my favorite Reuben lines in this movie🤣

I love the look transitions from the heist attempts from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

"We all go way back and I owe you from the thing with the guy and the place and I'll never forget it!" "It was our pleasure." "I'd never been to Belize!" makes me crack up every time.

god this film quality is perfection; the editing, the acting, the dialogue, the music.

This dude heard "stereotypical jew" and just let loose

The camera work at the end is just beyond brilliant. Pit and Clooney get closer and then the camera, in sync with the music BTW, goes for a close up indicating that the character is in the game, no extra dialog, no extra bs, just pure and beautiful camera work.

You do know in the 7 weeks French campaign the French killed more Germans and had more casualties than the entire American World War 2 effort right? That the full-force of the Wehrmacht was aimed at France when in 1944-5 only a tiny fraction faced the Americans (even on the Western Front there were seven different allies attacking German positions). I understand the Americans did the mop up and administration after the war, but the Russian defeated the Germans, took their capital, forced the death of their leader... the Americans just firebombed their industry and civilians. That's real history my dude!

That part might be a legal problem. The criminal was not armed and had his back turned. That's no reason for the guards to shoot him. They're all going away for manslaughter

"Have" is correct if it still applies to the present, "had" if it's no longer the case. I've never been to Belize until this day. I'm emphasizing the fact that it's still the case. "I had never been to Belize until last year" means I went there just a year ago for the first time.

His voice is impeccable no one else could’ve played this role

Dude that baton smack and the way he narrates it. My favorite moment

If you look VERY closely, you'll see that the robber gunned down outside of Caesars Palace is played by John Cusack.

I aspire to elevated patio dining. So many great lines. “And you are gonna need a crew as nuts as you are….who ya got in mind?” An all time fave scene.

1:19 was it necessary to shoot the guy over money? Love how Reuben knows that they are manipulating him and he goes with it anyways.
