OCD Cleaner THROWS UP In Filthy Mansion | Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners Country House Rescue | Filth

Ойын-сауық

An OCD Cleaners VS a country house that hasn't been cleaned in years? what could go wrong!
Behind the ornate front doors of some of the most spectacular homes in the British Isles lies years of neglect, hoarding and grime.
The owners are struggling to maintain their houses without the help of the domestic staff who have long since departed.
Often, a vast ancestral hoard of clutter going back several generations dominates the house, collecting yet more grime.
Entire wings are uninhabitable and the home owners find it impossible to let go of treasured possessions which have been in their families for generations.
But could a group of obsessive cleaners rescue these grand mansions from housekeeping hell and add some polish to their faded grandeur?
In Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners - Country House Specials the obsessive cleaners will work with the homeowners over five days to help restore the houses to their former glory.
Coming from homes that they clean compulsively several times a day, the cleaners will step outside their comfort zones, facing their fears to immerse themselves in the house and its daily life.

The thing i find bizarre about these people is that they live in these amazing, historic homes that people took care of and took pride in for generations...then they just let them go to pot. It’s so disrespectful, especially since a number of them appear to have been left the property and not even had to buy it themselves. Fair enough she has a lot of stuff, that’s fine, but there is no need for things to be dirty.

Well that's why they had servants to run a household this big. Besides the hoarding, you just can't keep a house this big clean all on your own. And as you have to pay them maybe this is just a lack of money.

It is not laziness. People who don’t take care of themselves lack the motivation to do so , because they truly believe they don’t deserve to live well. This comes from abusive parents. Both these conditions are caused by some sort of trauma - they're just polar opposites. My mum was a hoarder - my dad slightly less so - and I have unfortunately inherited their mass of things, which I've moved from house to house since my parents' death in 1998. I have thrown masses of things away (or sold items, over the years), but I feel overwhelmed and anxious when I try to discard/sell anything with sentimental value. This programme and others like it seem, to me, to expose our addiction to throwaway consumerism. The same old tired possessions such as unused exercise equipment, obsolete tech like old printers and TV's, and piles of shoes and clothes, speaks more about our obsession with buying cheap convenience items, than anything else. The solution surely has to include moving towards a circular economy; recycling, reusing and repurposing this stuff, rather than shoving it in a corner and buying the next thing. And the right to repair items, rather than manufacturers building in obsolescence so we buy the latest upgrade constantly, is a big part of that. Vinny and Denise are absolute saints! ❤

I know she is very attached to her stuff since its kind of the only thing left from her childhood and her parents, but if she wants to sell the house (which is the whole purpose of this), she should have known that eventually once its sold she would have to move everything away. Edit: I also have to say I'm happy she understood that.

I do think that he was wrong to go and clean her bedroom. Bedrooms are private. She could have some private things hidden away. She is probably worried what might have been seen. I think it was an invasion of her privacy especially a man going through her bedroom. I’m surprised that his cleaning friend didn’t point this out. If some male stranger went through my bedroom I would probably be pretty upset as well.

So many Rooms. You need a Company to keep it clean. Even without OCD. It would be beautiful if somebody took care of it. With beautiful furnitures it would be really cool. I would do something . Mouse Traps, a Cat or something else (natural things) to prevent Mouse from coming in.What an arrogant Woman! She should be thankful for help. She is blind. After her Death other ppl have to throw everything away. It is a Mess. Let her rot there. 15 years not throwing things away? Delusional ! Yeah..House on the Haunted Hill! Well said!

All those rooms and she has her sewing machine in her bedroom! I can only dread to think what the rest of the place is like. They managed to do a good job but only on a fraction of the place. Old houses are very hard to keep on top of, I live in one. Let it out of hand and it's up and running. The spiders, the dust, the fluff. But keep on top of them and they are wonderful.

Twiggy is never going to change - set in her ways like hardened concrete. Absolutely nooo respect for herself, her cat or the cleaners regardless of her final statement of thanks and where ever she goes she will continue in the same way only this time people will not be so forgiving. I am glad the house is changing hands and hopefully to some one who will take care of it.

as someone who suffered and sill suffering(but less ) from OCD i give you a simple but a very hard advise fight it hard and punish yourself by pushing yourself through situations you would otherwise run from it will hurt a lot but it will stop and you can get a life after that and the best advise for ocd is to never even think about obeying the sounds and whispers

I enjoy watching ocd cleaners in the background when im tidying. My mum came over to have a break from roadwork noise. She ended up watching like 6 episodes. She went home and started decluttering as all of my grandparents stuff was at my parents house when one set died during covid and the other in a nursing home due to dementia early this year. My Parents are grieving so i understood and have been selling things for them in my spare time. I came over to see the result of the new windows and to do some painting and 3 rooms were cleared. And mum was working on the 4th. My mum has said to me that she realised that she and dad lived in a hoarder house and it wasnt ok. she showed dad the show as well. He has started decluttering his shed as well. Mum is ordering a skip once the council finishes the roadwork. So my message to the internet is if your parents hoard leave ocd cleaner on your tv when they come over for a cup of tea or coffee

A difficult video to watch. You can clearly see that the lady of the manor was upset by the cleaner's reactions. Would have felt guilty myself to upset someone like that. Yes, we all have different standards but we can be respectful to those who have different standards to ourselves.

I love that cat to think 18 year old she has taken good care of that cat. In cat year 18 is 88 years old. I could look through all that I like all kinds of animals spiders, mice , lady bugs and I would use a box for them and put them out side a little broom very light in a box and I do like clean but not crazy clean. I think they are awesome to clean and she is too finely say yes regardless, because that is also a kind of sickness, you wont let go because it's a part of you

One question, are they really obsessive compulsive, because I keep on noticing they touch everything yucky with their gloves, and then when they want to gag, literally put that dirty glove against their faces. Sometimes mouths. I do not even do that and I am not O.C.D. its generally common sense.
