@@Jusliu829 my apologies. Due to tone being missing from a comment I was taking the p155 out of the original comment about hoping they get back together. Dry humour that gets lost in the written word.... Or I'm just not very good at it. I've seen Weller a few times. Not really a fan of The Jam nor The Style Council. Wild Wood, Stanley Road and Heavy Soul are my favourite. Check out his set on Southbank, I think it was 97. Phenomenal. Also, Whirlpools End on Jools Holland. Look at the face Steve White makes as he thinks the song is coming to a close..... Then the realisation that they're all on fire and they jam a bit more. I think I made a comment on that video too about how the string section really adds to the performance.... And how Morrisey has calmed down since he played the trumpet.... You'll spot it and see what I mean, you may have already seen it. Edit you may have seen the video... Not my comment on the video :)

Yes, I have it is brilliant! What I was trying to say in my comment was that CD’s sound have lost the dynamic range of earlier 1980-90 recordings. There seems to be such a difference if I play old cds against any modern one the sound is less clear and sounds fuzzy. I just had a search and this is a good explanation. (I had an old Marantz tuner and analogue speakers then, and old cds sounded fantastic even on low levels) tcervo.com/its-the-mastering-stupid-how-record-companies-are-ruining-music/

Weller…cool personified 👌😎
Love my Noel, but when he sings…it’s a nice appetizer. When Weller sings, it’s a robust feast. I would love to hear Paul sing the entire Oasis catalog. It would be godlike.
Still sensational now
Soul n Class
Sounds fucking great mate! Nice job.
MEGA
Weller and Gallagher. What a team
perfect combination, alway better than the original
Don't they look young here, especially Paul.
If dantdm fans/ex fans played his on the day on his recent surgery, you're a legend hoping that he was going to pull through
Absolutely fucking beautiful

I hope these guys don't let their animosity towards each other kill their chance at a reunion. If they do ever get back together the world might implode on itself, I just hope I have front row seats.

You can just see how close they are here as brothers. It's unmistakable.

@@DaveTaste Yes, I'm sure. You can tell just by listening to his voice. Even if the man on keys is not Paul Weller, which I'm pretty sure it is, he is 100% not Liam. Also, it says Paul's name in the video title :)

Strawberry lemonade. You 'avin that?
so fucking underrated song.
My wedding song ❤️
A lockdown song lol
Imagine instead of Weller, that was Liam able to do that. Biblical I'd say
Fucking legends my man 🙏🙌🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅
I bet weller was secretly jealous as f@@k in those early days of oasis listening to noel belt out anthem after anthem, such simple songs with such an impact ❤️
Wow! Thanks. Pity Noel's recent CDs are so flat and compressed. This is how they should sound.

all cd's are flat and all mp3's (of which cd's are made) are compressed. other than pointing out the obvious, i'm at loss for what you're actually getting at? PS. Pretty sure they're all on Vinyl, or available on Itunes as FLAC files, which will give you a good audio quality.

(I had an old Marantz tuner and analogue speakers then, and old cds sounded fantastic even on low levels) tcervo.com/its-the-mastering-stupid-how-record-companies-are-ruining-music/

....and adding to that, when I’ve listened to Noel’s live broadcasts on my iPad the sound is just amazing, that’s when I realised how flat the cds were.
Uguale a Liam!!
This must be so surreal for Noel man imagine your on the dole writing songs in ya bedroom then next minute Paul weller is jammin with ya

Tri Yudho Wicaksono don’t know Paul Weller ?
I sang this one time in barlinnie prison at an inmates guitar class concert we held in the Chapel,,a was the guy on stage myself singing it if anyone was there let me know ,,2005ish
This is the most sounding Weller song of Noel; therefore it's only fitting Paul appears on it. DISCUSS.
Anyone know what keys weller is playing? Looks like a fender Rhodes but can’t tell
The greatest Gotham. Gives you the people. X?x?
:)
put on glasses on paul & he is liam & the world is good again
Question here : did Weller played on the studio version ?
