Couldn't agree more. This my favourite track off the album. A stripped back remix that is heavy on bass, drums and a tuned down guitar providing extra low range to compliment Noel's guitar work is what's required for this song.

Very rare you see Noel going for it like this. For a while I used to think Liam carried the band live and they could get it all together again without Noel involved. Just shows at this point he was a man entirely satisfied with his life and career... Biblical.

To play an album track live and turn it into something completely brand new, emphasising and empowering it, on show to the en mass is so incredibly rare in this day. Even the 90’s. Drug induced experimental rock n roll. Wow

GMex ‘97 was the absolute apex of Oasis, Brit Pop, and that great era called the 90’s.

This video was pivotal in when I started listening to Oasis a few years back. Balls to the wall, in your face, absolutely breathtaking. Oasis for a stretch for about a half a decade were undeniably the best band in the world, and man I wish I was around for it.

Man, that live version is incredible. The band was on fire at the beginning of that tour, Noel improvising and doing lead, Liam sounding mega, and you can even hear Guigsy's bass ! This is also one of the first times Noel played his 355 live. And one of the few times Bonehead is playing something else than barre chords, on something else than his Epiphone Riviera (the live performances of Up In The Sky are the only other exceptions I can remember).

Unpopular opinion but I absolutely loved Be He Now. Yes it was over produced and very indulgent but this was the biggest band in Britain at the time. With shitload of money with the world in their hands. Album totally reflects this. Its an album of Extravagance, Indulgence, Attitude and Total Confidence at the top of there Game.
