His voice at by the sea was probably the best I’ve ever heard. His voice was so unique and still is to this day IMO

This performance makes me realise that despite his ability, McCarrols drumming gives this song and the first album it’s punk edge, love it

@@TheMusicalElitist while its not as technically proficient as whitey, I do feel like Tony's drumming gives the Definitely Maybe tracks a real punk feel to them, Tony could have never played tracks like champagne supernova as well as Alan could, but his work on the early lps is really more than mediocre mate.

Cause he was flying on life..I've seen them 8 times now and they always sound better live than recorded!! The sign of a quality band love em..best years of my life sadly missed... RIP my darling wife Ruth..we will be together again and living these times again in heaven together for eternity.. Miss you so much baby..love of my life. In my opinion, this version mixed with the Wembley’s 2000 would make the PERFECT one. The crazy speed of this one with the powerful (almost lacking) graspy voice of Liam’s voice in Wembley 2000 🤌

I think mark coyle was doing the sound engineer for live gigs ( until about mid to end of 1995 cos the band were so loud live he started going deaf, the band used to make the walls and floor move in the early days and cos the venues were smaller then compared to the end of the band, they were raw as it gets live) anyway liam was always pointing up to mark coyle to turn him up even when liams monitors were as loud as they could go. I was lucky to see them twice in 1995, was 17 years old, mental gigs.

Sadly you lot in the states get a tired worn out lg by the time his tours reach you. His whole 2019 uk tour sounded fuckin electric, plus the festivals he did in 2018. Can’t wait to see him again in a few weeks time... can’t believe I’m saying that.

This performance is better than the album version

I'm not a big Oasis fan, but of the songs I have heard I like this one the best. However, who thought it was a good idea to ruin the song with all that noise at the end. When I downloaded it from Amazon I cut all that crap off and faded it out. Much better.
