One of the best looking cases on the market at the moment.
I've watched many other review videos of H9 Flow and you are the first person to check on the side panel against the 12vhpwr cable, thank you very much now I can order this without worrying about it.
Great video! Very informative. Thanks for posting!!
"Cheaper than beer" lol. Brilliant bit of number work there!
Congrats! The most complete review I've seen

Glad you liked it!
Almost full NZXT build looks magnificent.
I was interested in this case, but I was wondering about that space over the EPS socket. So the radiator mount on top is closer to the motherboard instead of the glass. That sucks. Thanks for showing this, Leo.
2:00 The lack of pwm fans in some of these pricey cases is a joke.

@@-opus again, they assume you use different fans as only having a few fans is common sense. Plus fans are expensive. A mid tier corsair three pack is ninety bucks, half of the price this whole case itself

@@Donuts_Donuts_Donuts High end cases should come with high end fans (pwm being a part of that), I have no issue with the case coming with 3 fans, but they should have been pwm. I added 2 more pwm fans to the case, but would have very much preferred if the included fans (a part of the case price) were also pwm. I would have had no issue with the case coming without fans at all, and being significantly cheaper due to that, I would have actually preferred it, but since they are included in the price, I expect them to be pwm.
I have the H7 Flow which has turned out to be excellent with an AIO on my 13700K, the H9 looks great and a nice step up especially I thinki if you populate the bottom row as an intake with 3 fans. Cable clutter looks to be a doddle on the H9 as well, though I recently bought the Corsair Shift PSU so it will not work on the H9...Great review!
amazing looking clean build that. I actually preferred it with the card in the normal position, the big slab of plain black ruined the aesthetics IMO. but maybe thats just me.
Great video!
I really like that build, and the look of it. the GPU would need a change to make it more appealing to look at but apart from that, nicely done leo
Enjoyable watch! Will you guys be reviewing the tower 200 soon? I quite liked the coverage you had on that case
@KitGuruTech

Not sure when Thermaltake is sending out samples of The Tower 200 but you can be sure we will be covering it. Looks like a very interesting case. Leo
Nice review, but im waiting on the tower 200 from the computex coverage, i thought that looks fantastic.
surprised you didn't put the aio on the side to compare temps.
The only way to make it efficient is adding more fans, good fans. I managed to get slightly better temperatures compared to the O11D Evo, but that would require all fans spots populated. There’s only two criticism I can genuinely make about this case: the bottom fan position is poor. Should’ve been a removable bracket and also some gap between it and the bottom of the case. My T30 can operate only at 30% (2000 rpm mode) to be on the same noise level of the O11D Evo/Phanteks NV7 at 50%. The second one is top radiator clearance. 5mm taller would make a big difference.
Thank you for the review! If I wanted to add 3 extra nzxt f120 core rgb fans would I need anything extra like a fan controller etc. ?(10 total fans and 2 rgb controllers) thank you!
@KitGuruTech the optimal flow that i would use is bottom to top with the vertical gpu installed .... i would love to know the temps as im getting the NZXT H9 Flow very soon
Have this case with a custom loop in it. I put a 100MM pump reservoir beneath the psu. There is plenty of space. You can also do a push pull on top. And i have an 420 MM on the bottom. I really love this case. Keep up the great work you guys and stay safe.

As im considering this case myself for a case update. What would be the max amount of space would be available in that area? I have a d5 glass cylinder pump res combo that would be amazing if i could slip it in that back area for a concealed res pump install

@@RunAroundGuy2 100 mm would be the max. 150 is too large.
I have had this case for about 3 months. Looks gorgeous, lots of room to work in and manage those cables. Fans on the floor of the case make a big difference in its cooling ability. But at the going price for this case, having to pop for an additional $100 of fans is not much appreciated.

Yeah they missed out on this one bad, with better fans and flow coming from bottom and side and exhausting out the top and back mine with a 5900X cpu under load doesn't get even close to their temps and mine is real quiet while doing it. Leo missed this one bad
what if you set the side fans to pull air in, and use the rear and top to push out? you only have one fan pulling air from the back out to the three side ones.
What are according to you the key differences that led to another award compared to the lian li o11 dynamic evo as they both seem similar in nature?
Are you reviewing any of the new TT cases from Computex soon leo?
Is it possible, in this particular build, to install the radiator above the roof rack and then the fans below the rack? this would fix the space issue but not sure if the rack allows for the pipes to feed through, has anyone else done this?
We missed you last week Leo
Can you still use the other PCIE slots with vertical mount in place?
I want to wait and see a few of the cases from computex, the new lian li models and the tower 200 from TT.
I feel like you really to use the bottom intake with fan as well, side intake never fully get airflow in properly. Same issue with the Lian Li 011.
Possible to see just air cooled results with this case that’s closed on 3 sides?
i love the look of it, but im waiting to see the new lian li cases hitting the market soon after computex and some proper reviews.
thats a very attractive design IMO, loads of width, and I like a lot of width
It's very fantastic
95 to 100c is pretty hot, is there a reason why you didn't add fans to the bottom?
I think you are right, the fans would need replaced to make sense. they seem a little ineffective when quiet, and just annoying when they work better at higher speeds.
Leo, As always no messing about and straight to the point. Althought the DV fans that comes with the case are a let down as for the price they should be PWM.
Ok, so my question is...I have an Asus motherboard, Z790-H, and bought some NZXT CORE fans (7) , the single one didn't came with a controller, so I plugged the fan header into the motherboard fan pins and the RGB header into the motherboard 12V pins and yeah...after 3 seconds it was gone. And the question: The only way to connect a single fan (I mean the RGB header), is buying a controller?
Can the gigabyte aorus waterforce x ii 360 fit in the case?
I have this case, 13900K, 4090, and have much better temperatures. 1. Use the front fan position for the CPU AIO 2. Make use of the bottom intakes for additional positive pressure and cool air for the gpu For my latest upgrade, I am doing push/pull for both the CPU space AIO and a GPU since I don’t want to go with a custom loop. I love that this case lets me do push/pull on two 360 radiators (front/top). I will admit that the horizontal 30 series 40 series 12whr cable clearance is terrible so you either have to use a third party adapter like a cablemod 90° or 180° adapter, or go vertical
@simbiote89

Same CPU/GPU combo, with the graphics card in the vertical mount, belly fans for intake, CPU radiator pushing out in the ceiling and i'm getting 60-70deg when running it hard, I reckon the belly intake is making a big difference regardless of which way the side fans are pushing.
I do like a nice clean white build - the case looks good. that 4080 card is massive isnt it... wow

Love the prices of stuff nowadays.
Looks better with the standard horizontal GPU mount (has a nice backplate and side profile) otherwise nice overall. Add fans on the bottom to farther improve cooling to the GPU (horizontal position of course) etc. The 12VHP cable touches the glass.. And? Who cares it doesn’t matter / effect anything - it’s not like it’s smashed up against it.
What do you guys recommend
Just started getting into the whole pc thing recently, first pc ever, and bought a pc a friend recommended to me from cyberpower. Has an i7-12700kf with a gigabyte 3070 eagle inside of it with a H519 mid case. After some gaming and fiddling around it turns out that the case isnt that good for the GPU as it runs around 80 cel at max settings for Dayz. Ive been eyeballing this case due to the price and how great the airflow is and im definitely considering the H9 now thanks to this video along with other improvements later down the line but my main goal now is making sure i stay below that 80 mark the best i can and i think that this case could definitely do it.

Another cracker! Thank you, Leo. That case looks absolutely excellent for cable management. "The NZXT Flow is cheaper than beer" Brilliant! The fans not being PWM and not being linked is disappointing given the price. The latter is also disappointing for the AIO cooler. Speaking of the cooler, I noticed that while the CPU got very hot, the AIO fluid did not. I think the peak was about 40 degrees. Or was that just an accident of cutting? I did notice the lack of grommets. How rounded are the edges of the holes? Will cables catch and wear? You commented on the EPS connector: I find that difficult in many cases. Perhaps you might try fitting the EPS cables to the motherboard before fitting it, feed them through the holes from the front, and only afterwards plug them into the PSU?
It’s either this or y70 🤔🤔 idk which one I’ll go with
its a pretty good case tbh - i think it would need a white GPU or something fancy like a palit with the diamond look, but it should be able to cover most build scenarios.
why would u want a radiator frame on the bottom?
As reliable as ever, sir! Black PSU's. They were doing SO well on the white theme. They appear to have gotten the underlying mobo right too this gen. Paired with a POWERCOLOR HELLHOUND AMD RADEON™ RX 7900 XTX SPECTRAL WHITE (I understand you go with what you have to hand!) and what would there be not to like aestheticallly and performance-wise? Temps and noise are another matter and trapping the EPS cable... They put all the variations in the manual; but failed to build them all in the case before they finalised the design? Whoops! The market isn't exactly short of 011 clones, even with glass panel meeting glass panel with nowt betwix in white; I'd pick the best priced and executed. Which is unlikely to be the H9 Flow. If they do a non-Flow; lord knows how THAT would fair for performance, temps and noise! Cheers again!

i like its more accurate than most sounds ive heard, more fun too vision ears would produce more precise sounds but i prefer this, i rarely critical listening nowadays
What’s a great case then in your opinion?
Wow that CPU temperature really gets up there!
I was going to get this, but it was out of stock at the time
The whole reason you had high temps is you put no fans in the bottom! Optimum flow would be intake in bottom and side and exhaust out the top and back. Mine with a 12 core, 24 thread cpu under load doesn't get anywhere close to your temps and it's very quiet with better fans and even aggressive fan curve so people don't go by this, it's way way better than shown here. Sorry Leo but you missed out on the possibility of this one big time
too much glass and rgb for my liking but nice white colour. Thanks for your review!
@10:20 that was the point why i bought the H7 flow argb. a shame, to make such a wide case and give the gpus no space...
Thumbs up for title alone 😂 Aesthetics have become too important for manufacturers when they start sacrificing cooling. My HP Omen 30L suffered from same poor engineering. I replaced the glass with plexiglass and added an intake. I took it a step further and retrofitted cooler but likely didn't need to. I can game whisper quiet now. I've got a video on it if interested!
im really curious about the airflow with this kind of aquarium cases.

"The NZXT Flow is cheaper than beer" - lolz. leo can be funny in a very distinctive english way.
Can ANYBODY twll mw whether this case will accept both an AIO 360mm AND a water cooler 360mm Rtx AIO? Simultaneously. I fear that the top fromt corner is going to be an issue, TIA
Does look really cool though even if its not actually very good at airflow.
Nice they thought to include a proper hard drive cage rather than just ssd mounts.

weird they didnt opt for grommets. they arent expensive and protect cables.

I like it but it sounds like it’s too thin. My Core X71 has thicker metal…. Damn and you can’t fit a 54mm triple rad on the top. That’s a deal breaker for me. Good video though thank you and I love the look of the case.
That is a very nice CPU cooler looks amazing.
Agree the vertical GPU looks way better.
Good morning. I've been watching you for several years. 😄I would like to point out 🤔 that an error has crept into the temperature charts and the corresponding fan speed settings. The first chart (11:34) is fine, but the second (13:23) and third (14:01) descriptions are mixed up (captions swapped) and they don't match the first. Regards. 🤗

You are quite correct and well spotted. The page will likely go up on KitGuru.net on Monday and I'll fix the chart there but sadly this one is baked in here Leo
Why does it look like Leo is breaking the case when he is taking it apart.
Don’t like that perforated side looks messy.
Nice o11d gap rip to 011d Evo
I want a all 140 case that looks as good as this one... all announced ones are ugly or just dont allow only 140mm or just support 2 sides fans... not sure why case manufacturers are like 5 years living in past 🤔
Is that the largest 4080 on the market? surely it must be.
Why is the intel so hot?
'Nzxt h9 flow is cheaper than beer' 😅💀
no rack on the bottom? Wtf is the point in that?
Need to undervolt that cpu. But the NZXT AIO's just aren't very good.
the glass is a bit of a double edged sword as its acting as an insulator.
The glass is nice but the whole thing is very angular would have been good to add some curves.
Not completely sold on the glass case because it means the insides of your build are going to have to look good all of the time,
it doesn’t make sense if you’re using the water cooler the temperature shell should be lower than 100 criticizing the heat that the GPU throwing out am i have h5 Elite and temp in the case all time play game is 75c
I would still buy 67L of beer over the H7 elite even if its "cheaper"
So they cheaped out with fans, why not to have pwm fans is mindeblowing.
Hate cases that have side airflow because they do pretty much zero cooling….air does not turn 90 degrees and magically cool your system lol it makes more sense to just use them for an aio
