She saw dollar signs and is going to do her best to milk it for everything. That’s what her people do.

I was one of the people stuck on the train’s first car and I saw the whole thing happened. People were behaving very erratically. Passengers being very rude to the conductor and the subway staff. Passengers wanted to jump off the train and walk on the tracks and the crew was asking people not to do that and they still did it and started to jump off the train and walk on the tracks. It was a very unfortunate situation and the crew was doing their best to fix the situation. After an hour or so I was able to leave the train and most people were fine. The injuries were minor, People just fell down because of the unexpected impact. I’m glad it wasn’t a big problem. Thank god.

@@Dezlite initially I saw the error, however, I ignored since I get what the person is saying, I didn't criticize or make some negative comments. So why should you point out the person's misspelled word?

The way the switches are designed one train has to wait at a clear and safe distance for the other train to pass over the switch..Two trains cannot pass over the switch at the same time..It is to narrow... When ever you hear the Conductor make the announcement" WE ARE BEING HELD AT THIS STATION BY DISPATCH" it is for that reason.... So either it was a signal malfunction{ which I doubt} or someone in Dispatch screwed up or the Train Operator screwed up...Either way Someone is definitely going to be placed OUT OF SERVICE....

If I was I was on that train, I would’ve been scarred for life. Especially because it was a pride set (my favorite ones) AND because I am literally like…5m ears older than that boy…I hope everybody’s okay and that the injured stay safe during the medevac

It would not surprise me if this were a cyberattack with local assistance.

I love how the Fire Department Personnel Run in to get the people out as fast as possible. Wow. No one tells them what to do as they figure out the best way to make an opening to get everyone out. I am amazed again.

Non-NYer here. This is what happens when you don’t give proper funding towards the upkeep of your infrastructure. Buildings collapse, trains derail and crash. New York needs funding. And a lot of it. The MTA needs to completely upgrade their entire network. More terrible things are bound to happen if nothing gets done. What’s next? God forbid a tunnel or bridge collapse? My opinion on how to fix it? Remove 24hr service on select lines at a time and do major maintenance at night.

There's one thing that they probably never planned for , how does the MTA retrieve a subway train after it derails from under the ground...do they attempt to rerail it or do they cut it up it to get it out?

Where the mayor? He cares the migrants first.
