Sad fact in the video it was actually Cole’s first time going back to the gravesite since his fathers funeral. His reaction was genuine and complete sorrow. His father passed from working on his truck and something went wrong and the truck fell down on top of him. A total tragedy for that whole family to go through

I first discovered this song Three Days after my dad passed away, on my father-in-law's birthday, My birthday is the day before. My dad was my hero, taught me a lot about cooking, which is my passion. I think that's what I miss about him the most it's just talking about cooking. My father-in-law long story short, was a former veteran who set me up with his daughter while was active duty while I was stationed at fort Polk Louisiana. The second of August will make 10 years. I wish both of them could be here because I'm missing terribly. Any ward I love you always reaction peace and love

Great artist, an amazing songwriter. He spent a lot of time in Nashville working his way up to his contract with Warner that you see him informing his dad about in the opening cellphone video. Unfortunately, his father would me with a tragic accident only a few months later. As others in the comments have said, his reaction at the grave site was just raw emotion, having not been back since the funeral. Country is good about expressing the pain of loss and the grief that keeps no matter how much time passes.

The was the first time since the funeral that Cole visited the cemetery. The date in the beginning was important because it was July 2013 that was his father on the phone. At the end if you look on the headstone his father passed away two months later in September 2013. he was working on a truck and it fell on him. the video was recored after his first tour as he was coming home

A very moving song is Kelly Clarkson - Piece By Piece (American Idol The Farewell Season). I would like to hear what you think about it. I think she is an amazing artist who can sing just about anything.

  • @Eric-W28

That song piece by piece by Kelly Clarkson is about a parent leaving their child at a very young age and that song has nothing to do with losing someone that has died that song by Kelly Clarkson is literally about a parent leaving their child at a very young age. Because the song you should be here by Cole Swindell is literally about how his father died and that he wished his father could be there to see his success and that he'd be happy for his son. Because the song by Kelly Clarkson and the song by Cole Swindell are about two different things.

I thought in beginning it would be similar to pain I felt when I lost my brother. This pain since I lost my Mama, daddy is so much worse. I don't wish this kinda pain on anyone man. I don't know what to do. I'm lost right at this moment.

Don't quote me on this nor do I know this for a fact, but I think ur getting copyrighted is because you're letting the whole video play out without stopping it. If you just stop it once or maybe twice ( doing it at good times to not totally ruin it is another matter lol). Maybe just Do a quick whats the song about at that time or how it's arranged or something then keep going. At least we can see the whole video as you watch it. Just a tip if it's even accurate lol
