Found this old footage of me sewing my nurse Joy dress, for pokemon. I tried to make it into a tutorial for you all. I will have some more free time soon and try to make more cosplay tutorials!
This tutorial is meant for people who have a basic knowledge/ experience with sewing. I am in no way a professional. I can only try to explain how I personally make my costumes.
I learned mostly through trial and error so explaining this process can be hard. If you have any questions or requests, please let me know in the comments below.

so glad I found this tutorial. What are the original measurements of the fabric needed because I would like to know how much to buy.

Happy it was helpfull! It really depends on your size and the length of the skirt. I believe I had 2 meters and it was reallllly cutting it close xp 2,5 should probably be enough. You can always make your pattern first. That way you can measure how much fabric you would need
