I miss him. You can tell he respects Rihanna highly. I hope that they will play together again one day. They are an incredible duo along with the rest of the musicians in the band. When he added that haunting guitar on “Stay” it just brought the song to another level.

Popstars' managements are pretty smart, they hire guitar gods. Nuno and Rihanna make such a good combo, both very talented in different waysss

@@yazosali It's exactly the other way around. At least in this situation. Tony Bruno was hoping for quite some time as her director to be able to hire Nuno. She didn't know who Nuno is.

@wildcatter63 Guitar music is also written in standard notation. Tabs are for those who can't read music. And Nuno is a multi-instrumentalist. He can play everything.

Go read Nuno’s musical training. He can read music. He doesn’t need to. He knows every key on that fret board and every note that goes with those keys while within the chord framework of the song, he is playing.

Challenging and difficult gig playing with Rihanna? C'mon Nuno anyone who's seen a Rihanna show will see that you get lost in the mix 95% of the time so it doesn't matter what you're playing. Nuno could almost sleep through the show and it wouldn't matter since he's playing in the dark background. Nuno should just be honest and say he's doing it for the money. Extreme may not pay as well but at least the fans see and appreciate his playing.

He is not in the dark, he has some solo parts when he is fully on the light, you might not have seen Rihanna's Diamonds World Tour, he also does outros when Rihanna is changing her outfit. Check videos of Numb, Rockstar 101. Rihanna aknowledges him everyime at the end of Talk That Talk on the Diamonds World Tour.

Ghiles RiRi I'm sure there are a few exceptions but he's definitely playing in the dark background the majority of the show and his playing is barely heard most of the time. It's a night and day difference in an Extreme show.

Dude,do you really think me means,what he says here serious?That's typical PR-talk,like anybody else,he needs the job,so he's speaks well about his ''boss'',we all do the same in our jobs.Same thing when an acclaimed actor,plays in a crappy blockbuster movie by M.Bay,because he/she needs the money and then says in interviews:''Oh,working with M.Bay was a wonderful experience,people have the wrong idea about him,blah blah...'' ;-)

***** You're wrong dude. He doesn't need this, at all. He was asked (like he said) to stay for three months, but he has toured with her the past four years. You're right that there are many instances that people exaggerate their experiences with their boss/coworker just because it's what people expect them to do. But that doesn't mean that every positive thing said by any artist about their colleagues is a lie. bledboost Everything out of your normal routine can become challenging. It's not because he is a "guitar god" that every is a walk in a park for him. When things get to easy, people tend to quit, or change it up to make it challenging. He's playing with great musicians, don't expect that these professionals are going to treat this as child's play. You're undermining their expertise.

BLEDBOOST - I think you are talking out your arse. There are tonnes of people who have been to Rihannas show only to see Nuno and have been shocked about how much Nuno is in the music and great it sounds. So you could not have been to a gig you just watch clips on youtube and give negative comments on that

I know money buys it all, but from hard rock to rihanna??? Poor Nuno, such talent wasted in crappy music.
