What a great interview‼️ You know Rick, what he says about « a good producer sometime just get out of the way and let it be », well you just did the very same thing being a good interviewer, just let the light on the guest, get out of the way and … let it be. Another great interview. Thank you.

I know that these guitars are not traditionally constructed like the Big Two, but wow, the intonation is precision. Until he knocked a string flat! I'm in the market for a flat top or two. A 12 fret parlour guitar would be super cool. MacKenzie & Marr make a 14.

I saw a KZread that Leon Russel did, where he's talking about a time when he had George Harrison playing on on of his tracks and George was doing about 27 takes on the one track. In the end, according to Leon, he got over it and said to George, what do you think of this take and George said that one's great, which take was that and Leon said, that was the first take. :)

I relate to this so much. Can’t remember the last time I did a demo, I just feel like it takes the fun out of the process and my main motivation for making music is enjoyment. I think that’s why some music doesn’t hit the same way nowadays, because it’s refined to within an inch of its life and sounds more like a product than a piece of art.

A 12 string resonating off ceramic tiles would be quite something. Hole Hearted is such a great song, music, lyrics, performance. All their lyrics are clever. Leo Kottke often remarked how intractable a 12 string was. Nuno shows no signs of its intractability. He's amazing playing that beast!
