@@Sam_Hyde_Apologist there isn’t a single character in the game that doesn’t? People complain about characters because they can’t play every character effectively. When you become good with every character you become better at facing the characters you hate to play. The skill gap in for honor is very high so players that aren’t the greatest at video games will never be good technically. I have played rep 800s that are literally trash but played rep 70s that are amazing. It’s true there are some characters that are better than others but that’s part of every game, you can’t fix that. But the difference is so small that talented players barely notice it. If you can light parry consistently and have a good understanding in learning your opponents techniques and how he plays then the character doesn’t matter..

I respect this man's deflection commitment, Glad said "That's the whole reason I'm here, to deflect". Of course nasty deflects from both... reworked Shaolin is definitely a problem in duels, not Glads best matchup. Entertaining as always to both, ggs.

@@jtakx I've seen how Gladiator can be played and the hero can actually be incredibly boring, you could play way more safe but I'm glad that you don't (yes that was bad pun). Your Gladiator is an absolute joy to watch - that's all I meant to imply in the first place. Keep it up, I'm here for style and reactions and you've never disappointed.

I really love watching Glad & Shaolin play, they're both exciting to watch, but honestly, I really do believe that Glad needs some buffs, like maybe dodge cancels from toe stab & skewer whiffs, and an undodgeable heavy finisher, and have his parry bash wallsplat, then he'd be pretty good to me for current meta, there's more stuff to add, but those are the main ones.

Great fight here, it seems that glad’s trident bug is only ended by losing one of the rounds. Happens to me as well

They're both very good players , the only reason Shaolin won with such a huge gap is because rework made him literally op

Agreed shit is oppressive and I may be so bold to even rather fight pirate over shaolin and I actually don’t mind fighting conq but shaolin just has so much shit in his kit to where people are forced to play perfectly every time. Just taking a round off one in duels is exhausting.

@@djbreezy7356 That's the problem with UBI, they can't make a hero balanced, it s either shitty or way op. When a hero becomes seriously op after a rework, all heroes becomes obsolete. Take Kensei for instance, my ex main; he is literally pathetic after all those reworks and new heroes. Imagine kensei swift striking a kyoshin...

He may of encountered reflex guard there idk but on assassins it happens quite often when you think you blocked something but the guard runs out and you just rank the hit

How does Shaolin do the flicker tech at 2:46? Where he start the Top Qi heavy animation and ends up doing the light

If they made shailons stamina pool smaller (stopping his spam of MULTIPLE cancels) and gave glad more stamina in general, both characters would be better but idk I'm not the best gamer in the world, just my opinion.

@@renoblevg5375 I say that as a fact. Glad can feint 9 heavies and not run out of stamina compared to shaolin. If stamina nerfs come it's pointless to use the kit. I've always say that not because I'm a shaolin it's just a fact. Before rework and after.

@@LuSunKai then give gladiator and centurion an undodgable attack, every other character has an undodgable, a side dodge attack, hyper armor and large stam pool to do outrageous mix-up/cancels. Not to mention the spam of unblockabales that have become the norm i.e. pirate
