Hey J-MAN! Great to know about your experience with this NUX, especially how the $1000+ Sennheiser failed for your acoustic guy. Love the entire system design with its charging case; it seems to have been very well thought out!

@@j-man9457 Mine is a 10 year+ Line 6 system that still works great; I paid (up) about $340 USD at the time. It has the older style transmitter unit that clips on to a belt or strap with a 1/4" cable. One concern I'd have is that the newer units like this NUX has an all-in-one transmitter dongle that hangs down from the jack - I guess better not use these with guitars with crappy jacks like that Fender you fixed for your friend 🤣

The other systems you’ve tried in the past have been 2.4 Ghz systems, no? I imagine 5.8 Ghz would have slightly more bandwidth and face slightly less interference from WiFi and other things… But the more I research it, the more I’m convinced that ANY consumer-grade 2.4/5.8Ghz device is likely to face interference at some point.
