I think Speaker is more inclined towards IOCL as he is working in IOCL. He left the most important point completely that is Job Profile. Generally transfer in ntpc happen less frequently than IOCL in around 8 to 10 yrs. I think job profile is much much more important than simple money mindedness in long term. Money can't keep someone happy after a certain point. NTPC provide unique type of culture which can't be compared simply based on money.

POSOCO is safest secured Psu than any other PSU's in india. FYI it will never get Privatized.

Bhai purana gate score sirf mtech me consider hota h , usually psu do not consider the gate score of previous year.

Npcil salary(65,000) is double of ntpc(40,000) basic pay. Npci much much better than ntpc today (because of very less basic pay 40000 of ntpc)
