I think we can’t combine earned leave and casual leave. But we will get only 10 or 12 days of casual leaves if we want to take 14 days of leaves at a time we can’t use casual leaves . As casual leaves will not be carried forward it means neither can we use casual leaves nor it gets carried forward am I correct?

Casual leaves of field employees are converted to EL after end of year.dont worry of these things. It wont change ur decision to join ongc or not and u will know about these things after joining

yes the work culture of ongc is very different from other govt service. work is going to be tough. but when it comes to the perks and designation. JE is in no comparison to ongc. Being in ongc when you join at AEE you might become executive director or even director which is 100 times better than any JE or even AE in state . rest is your choice . the more you polish yourself in young age better is ur future in old age.👍

@@passioncreater But what's the use of old age if we can't enjoy our life in young age itself. What's the use of post and money when we are old and about to retire. People are leaving ongc because they do not want to waste their life in hardship. I mean if it's very meaningful, like having the satisfaction to serve public and having authority, which only few jobs provide like civil services/Railway. Being an AE in state is more respectful as we tend to get more recognition+work life balance is also very good. Overall job satisfaction comes from many factors, like social recognition, money, work life. It depends on where you live, if you live in America, then money is the most important factor for social recognition and respect. In India, social recognition and respect comes from authority and power. But yes, everything has a limit, if you want a too much chilled life, then become a chaprasi, why to become JE? Everything needs to be in proportion, decent money, comfortable life, social recognition and respect, and time for enjoying our life in young age.

The rooms are common. you dont get a single room in offshore at joining level. you need to get comfortable in doing yoga with ur roommate in same room

@@YatharthSharma simple answer. if you dont have issues in living away from family and want a peaceful life of 9-5 job and can live in outskirts then go for nhpc. If you want to live with ur family and on-off can help you go back to home where ever you are posted but yes ur life is going to be tough. yes the salary of ongc will be more than nhpc but that doesn't matters after a amount of time. best of luck 👍

yes it is completely true..and they are also not allowed to carry smartphones on helicopter...so yes they have to call through satellite phones only ...but in case of eastern offshores only(very few locations which are very close to shore sometimes catches the signal) . but on western offshore carrying phone also is strictly prohibited

in Every dept of ongc when you are at field you have to work with greeze . you can not isolate urself completely from working urself directly with ur hands. if u want a white collar job. you need to try to get office posting

Hi sir I got selected in ongc as AEE but currently I am working in iocl. ONGC is not allowing bond transfer because I didn’t bring noc during interview. But I have applied for noc from iocl before attending . But according to policy of iocl they won’t issue noc during probation what should I do now.

being in electrical you wont be getting much work and neither you will get 14 days on off....I dont know how is ur life at SAIL . best answer is to think from within that whether you love ur job at SAIL or not.. if no then go for ongc and if yes then stay at sail..you can only answer it for urself

This is not fixed and based on management and ur own will to go to office.you can get office immediately after joining and can also stay in field for 15-20 years.lot of factors like place of posting , requirement in office etc play the role.

Mostly 80% of difficult work will be done by staff but 20% had to be done by you also...you can not completely isolate urself from getting ur hands dirty. This percentage changes from asset to asset.

if you want a desk job. do not come to ongc. as said already in video. yes many people leave to get job in arab like KOC as they give high packages but mostly after 8-10 years of experience only

definitely their will be huge tanning but it goes away in 14 days off but still some remains. some people use sunscreens but they are of no use when it comes to job at ongc . coz sun is going to be ur favourite buddy during ur job. 😄

In hand salary is the most wrong concept specially when you are in govt service. what ever are the deductions ongc do like CPF , CSSS , NPS , PRBS is a huge amount but it is your salry only. you might not get this immediately for spending but is saved in ongc itself and every single penny you will get before retirement/resignation . so dont worry of in-Hand salary. Gross is good enough to run a family and even better than 30-35ctc which is claimed by private sector working in banglore specially when you are in field and yes you still get the uniform allowances.

No . Doesn't matter what is your rank in gate. once you are inside ongc. all are equal. You can choose dept like drilling or production or mech but not the place of postings

if you want you can definitely use mask...work is happening in the fields...so who ever have the work they definitely have to go out of the office. it is not a desk job at ongc...when I was posted in VFD rig(most advanced in ongc) their driller have its cabin and they have to work less in sun when compared to mech

congratulations on your selection. If you are physical challenged candidate then their is very high prob that you will get office posting only and not on rig. Chemist have scope in labs , safety dept etc. ongc always considers the request of employees if it is genuine

The satellite phones are common for all.. dept like electricL and mech have better excess as they have less work but dept like drilling get less time to talk on phone. and internet facility is available but sites that can be open are very restricted. let the joining cone. all these problems are not their in onshore rigs which are on land.

@@ABHISHEKKUMAR-my8rq your work will be mostly related to overhaul of machines and all equipments present at drill site to make sure smooth operations and carry out repair work at time to malfunction of equipments like changing liner pistons during mud cuts of mud pump etc.

I am comfortable with the physical hard work in drilling but worried by the accidental risk there. What would you suggest me?

risk is in every phase of life. we never know we are sleeping in night and fan fall over us😁 so dont worry of risk just work with safety . doesn't matter how much pressure ur seniors put on you . you should do the operations as per ur speed which u feel safe following SOP. then accidents can be minimised. and also don't worry of hard work. now the conditions are changing. in most locations now ongc have enough staff that you dont need to do any hard work now.

@@passioncreater Thanks for the quick reply. Just clear me one thing please like ek hota hai kabhi kuch unfortunately accident ho gya & ek hota hai talwar pe kudte h fir dekhnge bachte h ya nhi... I mean to say risk in NTPC & ONGC are equal or wast difference is there..?? I have both the offers & I need clarity before choosing one out of two. If you can again reply I will be thankful to you sir.

if you dont follow SOP. Then risk is definitely high. but if any unfortunate event happens in ongc field. ongc pays 2.5 cr(onshore) and 3.5 cr(offshore) to the family left behind. taking the risk associated with job ongc have made sure the life insurance at field is good enough for family

What is food schedule there at offshore
