Still amazing that when Biggie used to talk in interviews he talked slow and breathed heavy but when it came to rhyming the flow and rapping ability was sooo smooth

Thankful for all the content you guys have gave us over the past year or so, you guys created a wave.

The whole braggadocios lyrics and vibe comes from these rappers growing up really poor, in some cases homeless at times. They go from a horrible environment of drugs, guns, deaths, all that. And to make it out of a horrible neighborhood and make money? It's ridiculous! You can't help but wanna brag at that point. Like, look at me! I made it! Also, it comes from the competitive nature of rap. You wanna be better than the guy next to you. So in the case of Biggie, he displays these amazing skills with his flow, rhyme scheme, wordplay, everything. But he adds the flashy stuff he got too, so he goes, "Do you have this? Are you making as much to even be able to afford? Nope. I'm better. Come take the crown if you dare." That's how I understand it as.

I imagine it’s due to getting claimed all the time. They have their own lives and Im pretty sure that Jon has a wife and kids that he takes time from to do this, so putting in this much work just for other people to gain from their work is surely frustrating
