Life was better back then young man. We enjoyed REAL life. We lived it. We didn't need to photograph and post everything, well we couldn't lol, but that made us really live in the moment and most of who grew up in that time have the realest and most wonderful memories of it. Biggie was a big part of a lot of our growing up back then. Smooth as hell. Oh, and he didn't only make dance tracks, go listen to more he's music before making that assumption. Peace young man.

Naw dude, you misunderstood that homie. We back then played for competition to walk around with the pride of beating someone else in a natiural, man to man environment. When a man has overcome another man, it was a sign of respect from both men. They used teams of the best individulas at their venture to compete to see who will stand on top and who eats the shit! Mic drops.

Diddy's first-born son is ths baby the lightskin chick with braids, Misa Hilton, is holding and she is his mother. BIG is FAR from a "party rapper" lol, like everybody said he's much more of a street rapper but he's very versatile. Im a millenial so some of us got to experience life with and without social media. My first experience with social media is when I got a Myspace in middle school 😂

Bro Big was tough. He has mad hard songs you never heard. Songs like Kick in the door, Somebody got to die, last days and a story to tell. Listen to those and i promise you will look at him in a different light.

To be fair, people are functioning LESS in some ways because of social media and phones. They are addictive and prevent you from getting things done if you get caught up in it too much. They obviously come in handy and can assist in lots of ways, but they aren't inherently just positive.

Make sure to listen to Mtume's original "Juicy Fruit" from 1983. I'm GenX and love both the original R&B grooves that later rappers use, and many of the songs that use the samples. The hardest part of hearing all these songs before the internet or cell phones was 1. understanding the lyrics if they weren't in the CD/Cassette case, and 2. trying to place the samples. I know I've heard that somewhere....Could drive you crazy for months until your brain remembered, or you miraculously heard it on the radio.

Biggie had a lot harder stuff, but he had songs that were more mass appeal like Juicy... His beef with Tupac started after Tupac was robed and shot in the lobby of Biggie's studio. There were rumors that Biggie was involved with it...Then Biggie drops a song "Who Shot Ya" (a listen) in his Ready to Di album that made the rumors worse.
