You gave THE appropriate reaction to this song. You gave "stank face," which is KEY to listening to this song! This song sampled Herb Alpert's "Rise", which is a song from the 70s and the funk you hear in it. Pam Long sang the hook, she was one of the girls from the group "Total." Its hard to top this one from Biggie!

I’m an old head from way back. Been listening to hip hop since 1980. You’re probably the only new school reactor (that I’ve seen, anyway) that has brought up DELIVERY. If an MC sounds like he BELIEVES everything he’s spitting, it just makes the song THAT much better. Thank you for doing what you do. Oh, back when these bars were new, this is what was EXPECTED from hip-hop. You had to be better than everyone & everything that came before or, why even be in the game. Seems the industry forgot about that. Again, thank you.

'Things Done Changed' is another good one... others to consider: 'Big Poppa', ...'Juicy',... 'The What'(Biggie/Method Man)......also 'Cant you see' (Total feat Biggie), and 'All about the benjamins' (Lox, Diddy, Lil Kim, Biggie) classics......

React to What About Us by Total feat. Missy Elliott. This song was written by Missy and produced by Timbaland. Total is my favorite girl group and they're known as The Bad Girls of Bad Boy because they were the first girl group signed to Bad Boy. And you can also react to Can't You See by Total feat. The Notorious B.I.G.

You totally missed the baddest verse in the song, "That's how most of these so-called gangsters pass At last, a nigga rappin' about blunts and broads Tits and bras, ménage à trois, sex in expensive cars I'll still leave you on the pavement Condo paid for, no car payment At my arraignment, note for the plaintiff "Your daughter's tied up in a Brooklyn basement" Face it, not guilty, that's how I stay filthy Richer than Richie, 'til you niggas come and get me!".
