Dear Friends - we played this piece as part of the memorial service for my beloved Patricia last month. It so much captures the everlasting life memories of our generation. The service was transmitted as a videoconference to three continents and people everywhere were just touched by this sensitive cover of the original Metallica song. Thank you so very much
The cello is singing. Absolutely incredible.
Renditions like this just reminds me how tragically underused cellos are in modern music. That powerful distinct cello sound is pure music and emotion to me, I suppose that's why it's not used much to avoid it overshadowing everything else in songs.

This is not music. This is the formula that keeps the universe together.
The fact that classical musicians play metal/Metallica songs just proves that most of my favorite bands are legitimately great musicians. Just because my genre prefer heavy sounds..... It's just good music.

So close, no matter how far Couldn't be much more from the heart Forever trusting who we are And nothing else matters Never opened myself this way Life is ours, we live it our way All these words, I don't just say And nothing else matters Trust I seek and I find in you Every day for us something new Open mind for a different view And nothing else matters Never cared for what they do Never cared for what they know But I know So close, no matter how far It couldn't be much more from the heart Forever trusting who we are And nothing else matters Never cared for what they do Never cared for what they know But I know I never opened myself this way Life is ours, we live it our way All these words, I don't just say And nothing else matters Trust I seek and I find in you Every day for us something new Open mind for a different view And nothing else matters Never cared for what they say Never cared for games they play Never cared for what they do Never cared for what they know And I know, yeah, yeah So close, no matter how far Couldn't be much more from the heart Forever trusting who we are No, nothing else matters

I heard of Mozart but stumbled upon listening to his music first confused then bewildered why never gave an ear to such enlightening music it brings calm to one's life when the storm has set in this is how Mozart has touched my life. First cut
i went through a lot of covers for this track and this one was on point, even without amplifiers, electric modifiers, the improv and riffs were amazing , they knew where to put all their modifications, Brilliant!!!!!
