    The innovative style of the duo 2Cellos has revolutionized how audiences perceive and experience classical music, blending the boundaries between genres to create a unique and electrifying musical experience. Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser, the Croatian cellists behind 2Cellos, have garnered international acclaim for their ability to infuse classical cello performance with the energy and intensity of rock and pop music. By covering iconic songs from artists like Michael Jackson, AC/DC, and Nirvana, they not only showcase the versatility and expressive power of the cello but also attract a diverse audience, including those who might not typically listen to classical music. Their dynamic performances, often characterized by a high level of physicality and emotion, coupled with their use of electric cellos and effects pedals, push the instrument's traditional boundaries. This innovative approach has not only breathed new life into classical music but has also highlighted the cello's potential as a lead instrument in mainstream music, inspiring a new generation of musicians and music lovers alike.

    It's TRUE. Playing drums built my core up as a kid and has stuck with me since. Not to mention the arm tone you from playing. I need to go back to it. I had a full kit like this I could use bc my stepdad was a fairly famous drummer to all the bands in l.a. in the 70s and 80s, so he played like the drummer on this. At the time I thought he was the best drummer I'd ever heard, and rock has always been my jam, so that was saying something, but this beginning guy, hes a slightly better drummer, but not my much

    I'm not a classical musician... I've got a great appreciation for classical and enjoy quite a few pieces by a lot of different composers even though I've always played guitar in metal and punk bands. That being said, while I may not be talented or motivated enough to learn and play the majority of the classical pieces I do enjoy in their entirety (usually only learning the sections that stir emotion in myself) I can't help but wonder how these professional orchestral musicians feel. I mean, I actually started learning with Nirvana songs lol. They deserve credit in their own way and I understand that art is art and you shouldn't judge if you truly appreciate art, but Nirvana's music is ALL incredibly simple. I can't help but feel bad for the orchestra, spending their lives to be great at something only to play second fiddle in a horrid interpretation of such a simple and crudely written song.... Maybe I'm wrong. I just feel like it's such a waste of talent to ask these people to play this kind of music.

    Round of Applause to the drummer. Full stadium, tonnes of Music instruments and he control the beats/tempo. If he did one single mistake,everything messed up.

  • @kylab2197

    @kylab2197

    2 жыл бұрын

    Probably not, because the conductor is controlling the beat, not him. It would sound off, but everyone else would default to the conductor and he would get back on track quickly. That's why having the conductor is so important in orchestras.
