Great job, great skills, great editing, no talking 👌
One of the reasons i like this channel is the editing. Pretty quick presentation with the highlights only. I appreciate that the editing can take a long time too.

Thank you 😊 Yes I always edit the videos so that I would like to watch them myself
Beautiful in it's simplicity. Very well thought out, as usual!
Dirk, you are definitely a pro, very nicely done my friend!!! God Bless 🙌 🙏 Jay.

Next episod of the best yt show on the world. Buckling up and watching.
Beautiful man. I have one I bought that has no fingers. You've convinced me to modify the top die for bending boxes.
Yet another fantastic project! Thanks for sharing.
Another nice build Dirk, I am about half way through a similar build but with the addition of a bearing & broaching press. The trick is getting them all to play nicely together without loosing any accuracy or consistency. A couple of parts from your build are better designed than mine so they will find their was onto my build, thank you kindly.
Sehr schönes Projekt!

Awesome work from beginning to end. Great work brother.
compact , convenient , apparently very strong ( 1/4" plate ) ? and manually operated - what's not to like knocked it out of the park again , my friend "great work" thanks for sharing

@@TheMetalist ich befürchte es 🤣🤣🤣
What alloy was the aluminum? 4T bullnose/die radius for 5356 and at least 2T for 5052? Otherwise the aluminum will stress crack along the outside of the bends. Also, in general, if the inner shoulders of the lower die aren't radiused or lined with paper or plastic sheets (?) there is a 'tear zone' initiated by the scoring of the die's shoulders in the 50 series sheet and plate. Sure seen lots of tanks and other marine fabrications done with knife edge upper dies that ended up ruining perfectly good aluminum sheet that doesn't act the same as steel in a press brake.

Ya, when I was in high school screwing around in the metals shop the aluminum sheet would crack when you bent it exactly as you described.
That's a really nice build. Cheers SteveO

This took me WAAAY more than 16 minutes!!! Whats up with that? I feel tricked. 😂
Now i can be metal bender too...
At 14:01, it says r = 20. To me, though, it looks like the diameter is 20, not the radius.
Very nice project, i like that is quite compact. I guess that aditional weld on edge is for strength, isn't it? What fill material was used?
@TheMetalist
Ай бұрын
Yes its a hard coating. I have to take a look on the box
I really like your videos, this one is very well done. Why did you weld off the edge of the blade, what is the significance of that?
@rijkbroertjes890
Ай бұрын
I guess to harden the steel
@TheMetalist

Thank you 😊 yes its a hart coating
Did you use a special rod to weld on the edge or just regular steel filler rod?
@TheMetalist
Ай бұрын
Yes its a special hard coating
Why weld the edge of the press dies at the beginning? Hardening hack?
What quind of grinding disc du you use? It looks pretty efficient thanks
Was hast du für einen adapter am akkuschrauber zum gewindeschneiden?

Yes the editing is great, but,, a commentary can go along way to helping if someone wants to reproduce this project. Do you sell plans?
hello: from minute 14:00 I see a bar with a diameter of 20 millimeters. The radius will therefore be 10 millimeters, not 20. Or am I wrong?

I really like the part where the video almost entirely shows him building one thing. Then he demonstrates a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT and press designed ENTIRELY DIFFERENT. And even goes so far as to assemble the original build at the end and does even bother to a piece of 24g sheet metal with it. You people are all VERY easily impressed.
Is this aluminum or steel? I notice alot of American videos are aluminum. Do you have steel videos as well or is it just aluminum. Kindly clarify on what material you are using...

Pure masterpiece video and one of the cleanest metal work on YT, the thread taping seems to be butter 🤩. This very straightforward assemblying of those manifold parts makes me suspect an insane eyeball precision ☺️. Just 2 question , what’s the tonnage of the jack ? Why the thread taping seems to be so smooth and easy, is it a Downcut bit ? Thanks !! 🙏🏼🙏🏾
