I found something interesting about how Jessica Rabbit came to being from design point; The director Robert Zemeckis asked Bob Hoskins to imagine his ideal sexual fantasy for the animators, and animators took it from there. Hoskins told later, that his mental image was less risqué than what Jessica looked like in the completed film.

It just hit me the other day that scene gives you a early hint that doom is the killer because he killed Eddie’s brother and that show also had a brother.

You: terrified by shoe murder, but fine with Judge Doom's eye reveal. Critic: shoe murder is funni, but please cover those eyes back up.

I am also a 1988 baby. On my 30th birthday we did everything that was made/used 30 years ago, including what movies were played in the background of the party. Everyone sat down and watched as this film played because we loved it so much growing up.

It’s so fun to see Doug reviewing movies he likes now. Nice change of pace from the usual riffing

He's been doing that for a while now. He'll review a movie that he likes, but still make fun of its imperfections. Like his review of Batman vs The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for example. Which is good. It gives him a greater range of movies to review besides just the bad ones (or at least the ones he doesn't like).

Interesting fact. In the original book Kaa is Mowgli's third companion and friend alongside Baloo and Bagheera. The reason being that mowgli, being a human, is the only species Kaa _can't_ hypnotise which he finds fascinating.

I'm with Nate in which scene scared me more. I admit I only vaguely remember my first viewing of this movie, but I'm pretty sure I remember being more scared of the shoe killing scene than the reveal of Doom.

By the way, Charles Fleischer also two of the weasels, the perv who put his hand in Jessica's dress and the crazy one in the straightjacket. And Doug did mention the Yosemite Sam gun bit in his What You Never Knew About Roger Rabbit video.

Something of note with the bullets, two of them were voiced by pretty big western actors. Andy Devine and Pat Buttram. That and they worked together on a variety of Disney animated films. Like Robin Hood.

17:13 you got to stay as far away from the Rabbits hole as you possible can, as men of our size we would only get stuck and need a towtruck to be pulled out.

I love this movie so much. I always will watch it even if your like flipping through channels and catch it...I will sit and watch the rest of it. To this day and until I die whenever I put gloves on I always do it in the same way that Christopher Lloyd does it when he puts on the rubber glove....."Make toons...Respect!...the law" I even try the claw hand that he makes too.

I wish they kept the line that revealed that judge doom was the one who killed Bambi’s mom. Not joking check the original script.

Apparently the role for Judge Doom almost went to Tim Curry. But because his audition was deemed as too scary, the role went to Christopher Lloyd instead. Considering his performance was terrifying enough, imagine how much scarier Tim’s must have been.

Damn, Nate and Doug were almost on the same wavelength on this one.

To be fair on Coppola, making Apocalypse Now, was no walk in the park. Anyone whose seen the Hearts of Darkness documentary would understand that.

Apparently, some people don’t like him, but when I watched the show, I didn’t care about the Map that much to be annoyed by him.

People also dislike Critic because of his KZread, especially when he reviewed the Spiderman trilogy for not understanding the trilogy even though he found appreciation to those films in his comparison with the Andrew Garfield Spiderman video.

I really like Doug's reviews however it's not about what opinions he has it's about how he supposedly mistreats those who work with him behind the scenes he's been accused of waiting until a sexual assault almost goes down only then they say he'll step in & put a stop to it.
