you need to see Tony Goldmark AKA Some Jerk with a Camera's video on this film. i believe it was his first one and his other works go into theme park rides and attractions, with some movies and specials and all that spliced into his work. his really good. his humor though is up there with Jontron even NC in a way.

Hey, Nate. Since you're done watching Avatar: the Last Airbender, I highly recommend watching Nostalgia Critic's Top 11 Worst and Best Avatar Episodes, in that order

You know what's weird? As far as world building goes in this movie with bears being seen all around the place, not just The Country Bears, this movie might as well be considered a live-action continuation of We Bear Bears after the movie when bears become integrated into human society. You can look at it as two separate properties with certain similarities or look it as a whole . I choose the path that makes more sense to me.

I never understood why my family thought The Never-ending Story song. It played once over the radio as our mum was pulling out of the driveway to get us to school and I was happy to hear it, if a bit confused why it was playing on the radio (this was around 2008), but immediately my siblings started complaining to change the station "because this is awful" and I looked at them like "did you all take stupid pills with breakfast this morning?"

@@edwardnigma2638 if I had to pick a movie that was very bad as a child but I enjoy now as an adult was the black cauldron (bad as in scary in this case since I was terrified as a kid but actually thought it was cool as an adult since i saw MASSIVE potential for it to be a live action remake)

I just looked it up and the tv reporter that the bears see on tv while at the diner, is Paul Rugg the same guy who voiced freakazoid and worked on Animainacs.

If anyone hasn't seen the film and is interested after this review, it's on Disney+.

I would recommend checking out their Fanscription series as they did one specifically on trying to make the Haunted Mansion like the Pirates of the Caribbean

Okay there's no way this is a coincidence. Just rewatched this on Sunday 🤔

I remember watching this movie years ago and I did like it though I didn’t see it as awkward since it is a disney movie so I was expecting animals talking in it so I just saw it as another Disney movie. When NC reviewed it really made me appreciate this kind of awkwardness and bizarre world building and of course Christopher Walken is the fucking king. This movie makes me miss the old Disney before they got all...monopoly on our asses. Anyway, I recommend reacting to Channel Awesome’w what if series! I thought their take on the Star Wars sequels and Batman returns are actually pretty good imo.

Thank you Nate, for words!!! I cant believe Warner is willing to fire Ray Fisher and Johnny Depp, but wont do anything about amber and ezra!!! If Warner is gonna be like that, then I might avoid the dceu. I might see the shazam sequel, but we have to wait and see. I'm cool with zachery levi, and im hoping there Is no controversy with him.

It's interesting the phases Disney has gone through, with the remakes of the '90s (Angels in the Outfield, My Favorite Martian, That Darn Cat, 101 Dalmatians, Flubber, The Parent Trap, 2003 Freaky Friday and 2006's The Shaggy Dog), to the theme park attraction phase, and then to remaking MORE animated films into live action

@@DigiRangerScott That is where you are wrong there have actually been quite a few good live action Disney films from that era: Pollyanna, Mary Poppins, The Moon Spinners, That Darn Cat, The Million Dollar Duck, The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, Now You See Him Now You Don’t, The Strongest Man in the World, The Barefoot Executive, Escape to Witch Mountain, In Search of the Castaways, The Love Bug, Herbie Rides Again, Swiss Family Robinson, Grayfriars Bobby, Miracle of the White Stallions, The Ugly Dachshund, The Happiest Millionaire, Hot Lead and cold Feet, The Shaggy D.A, And The Black Hole to name a few!

Disney was sucking at the power teet... aka Johnny Depp until they had bought and owned all of the MCU movies back in 2012. Unfortunately the Star Wars sequel trilogy didn’t make anywhere near as much money as Marvel but that’s only because there’s a lot more relatable and popular characters that predate the Star Wars characters. There’s a reason why Endgame is now the top grossing film of all time. It’s the climax and finale of a three phase universe that was tremendous and financially successful especially with the big payoff being Josh Brolin and Thanos. We’re talking over $22 Billion dollars here! This was an excellent and hilarious review/reaction video to Doug Walker aka The Nostalgia Critic’s review of The Country Bears! In my opinion Country Bears is a cross between The Berenstain Bears and Blues Brothers 2000! I love your videos Nate keep up the good work and i hope you have a happy and healthy 2021. 👍🏻😂

Agreed. I like Malcolm and Tamara well enough but if there’s any positive thing I think to come from Covid, him tightening up his reviews because they have to do skits remotely has really made him more enjoyable. I’ve never liked his stuff like The Wall or the overly skit heavy stuff.

Look at Nostalgia Critic Mousetrap after this.

Consider where Daredevil came from in the 80's with the incredible hulk and then shown in Amazing Spider-Man and that was a good movie

I heard guy dog too even though I have seen this nostalgia critic before but idk what I thought the charity would have been for

23:23-23:35 For some reason that joke always seemed like they were making fun of the fact that in a movie the only thing that's happening is what's on camera and once someone leaves the frame nothing they do or say matters anymore... and it always annoyed me. if you wanna see a bad movie watch Geo-Disaster if you know science and roughly how science depicts how dark matter works you may dislike this movie as the creators didn't pay much attention in the way to exact science! i'm not gonna say much more as to the plot but the name is a dead giveaway also one of the characters got her leg trapped under a giant concrete pillar and a little girl and a skinny teenage girl somehow managed to use a metal bar to lift it something that should be in the tons weight class and then later the woman who had that weight on her leg that should be crushed not only proceeded to run but also go martial arts on a motorbike thief proceeded to kick him and the grapple him into a sleeper-hold! theres alot more wrong with the movie but you should see it for yourself I think they should of renamed it to Movie Disaster!

I won't be watching Aquaman 2. If they're not going to recast Amber Heard's parts like they did Johnny Depp, there's some bulls-t going on. Verdict's been reached, she lost, deal with it.

With regards to the Johnny Depp situation. I dont like how he said a few years ago when the last time a president was assassinated by an actor. He was a complete douche bag for that. However I dont like how they allow this metoo bullshit to persist when it seems like half the time its lying women wanted to ruin a guy's career. I wont be worrying about Pirates or Fantastic Beasts franchises anymore.
