The funny thing about this movie is that it was released long after Vanilla Ice wore out his welcome. All the music in this flick, including Vanilla Ice's, would've been acceptable a few years before this movie came out (remember, he sold 15 MIL!), but by the time of its release, Nirvana and the whole grunge movement already washed away the whole Club MTV scene, and NWA and the whole Thug Rap movement rendered Vanilla Ice an irrelevant joke (with the added bonus of Suge Knight hanging him by his ankles like the scrub he is!) So this movie came out about 2-3 years too late. With all that said, I'd still take Vanilla Ice over Macklemore.

QwertyGirl789: This is stupid and way-too-common trope. "Hero" of the story flirts with and/or tries to steal a girl he knows is taken. In order to justify the hero doing this, the boyfriend is always portrayed as a douche, so the audience will prefer to have the girl with the "hero".

Oh, and he also roughly grabs her arm, drags her outside, screams at her, and then later tried to attack the guy with a goddamn baseball bat. Oh yeah, I'm sure he's _totally_ justified in his actions. /facedesk

What's the problem with all the negative "white" comments? Would it be acceptable if one did a similar thing with an all black cast film and used being black as a negative...

Yes, it would be acceptable-if it made SENSE. You need to first find a movie with really bad portrayals of a certain race. Then you will get the negative racial comments. It's not about "Acceptable or unacceptable' It's not people bullying white people either. The thing with black movies is it's most often just black life or movies about black history. These movies often have black people characterized accurately, whereas this movie-Vanilla Ice pretty much wearing black rap culture like a halloween costume. It just makes him look fake. The more he tries to emulate black culture the whiter he looks.Which is why his whiteness is a negative in this regard. He sure isn't Eminem. He is a tall good looking white boy with perfectly styled hair, fancy clothes and a bike, what does he know about the "hood" ? Do you see why it silly? If you'd like an example of a movie with an all black cast where all the characters are cartoony "too damn black"characters -see "soul plane". Even black people hate that movie and it's an all black cast. Why? because it's a caricature of black people. Just vanilla ice is a caricature of a white person who loves rap. A white person who raps and likes hanging around black people, wouldn't act so "hood" white at the same time not looking like they could last a day in it.

***** lol. KZread is rife with racism against blacks. There could be a video of a black man drinking water, and some white racists will make disparaging remarks about blacks. ANY video on youtube that has blacks is filled with racist comments.

This movie is stupid beyond belief. Actually Vanilla Ice is not a unattractive dude, until he opens his mouth.
