#trending #woodworking #diy
It is time to change out the Drive & Idler belts on the Norwood Sawmill. I am also changing the ceramic discs that guide the blade. It is also important to grease and oil all machinery for long life.

Doesn’t it though. Before I got mine I could hear Great grandmas plain as day
Great maintenance on the sawmill
Yeah those discs should do a great job keeping blade steady when cutting, I would clean wood dust from motor vent helps keeping motor cooler,
Enjoyed watching Richard
Nice to see you doing your own maintenance on the saw mill. I should have built an ARK as it has been raining here for over a week. We lost power and all my hard work to build a sub floor in the basement had to be all torn out, We lost a lot of stuff, fans are working and now the waiting game to get my new floor installed. Oh Well -- life goes on. Hope everyone is healthy and happy! Big hugs from Perth Ontario Canada.

Oh no, that’s not right. That is a total bummer. It seems like all it does is rain now with periods of sunshine, LOL. I hate that you had to go through all that work but have done the same thing when working on a post and make one wrong cut and have to start all over
A good PM will make your tools last much longer, but you are well versed in taking care of yours Richard!
