Kim, with the pet hair we recommend the Lint Mitt: norwex.biz/en_US/shop/product-detail/40438 or the Rubber Brush for removing hair: norwex.biz/en_US/shop/product-detail/40351 The Rubber brush can be used on wet or dry Microfiber. If you choose the Norwex Lint Mitt it is best used when the fabric is dry so enough static can be created to remove hair.
Sharon Greenaway, you can wash your dog as you normally would. The Pet Mitt will be fine in soapy water. The Pet Towel would be used to dry your dog after rinsing shampoo. Hope that helps. There is more information here: norwex.biz/en_US/shop/product-detail/41906
Question about the dog hair. Does the microfiber release the hair? Or is there a process to get it out after use? Two Golden Retriever's here, so I basically am running a hair factory. Do you wash these separate from your other microfibers?

Hey Kim! I would suggest using the Rubber Brush to get the bulk of the hair off. i know that works wonders on the dusting mitt and mop when you have a lot of pet hair you are dealing with!

Hi kim. I know your question is from 4 yrs ago. But i just bought the pet mitt and pet towel. I too have a golden 12 yrs and hair factory is a good description for sure. I will wash the pet mitt and towel by them selves after i use the rubber brush to remove as much hair as i can. Also do you use regular dog shampoo and not norwex human shampoo? Wondering cause its not eco friendly and i dont want my microfiber getting clogged up and not work as well any more. I think my golden was softer after drying her with the towel. She needs a medicated shampoo so i didn't use the norwex mitt. But did use it on her after she was dry to remove tons of hair.
Does this thing really freaking work? I just tried it on my dog and she just smells like wet dog now
Can you use dog shampoo with the pet mitt ?

Hi Sharon, I just used the mitt and towel for the first time yesterday. I had a bowl of water, the mitt and towel. I brushed my dog with the rubber brush first to get rid of a lot of fur and then proceeded to just wet the mitt and start rubbing my dog. Normally, she hates a bath and she stood there and allowed me to wash her entire body and loved it. No shampoo to get in her eyes or to have to worry about rinsing off well. Then, dried her off with the pet towel (actually, she was barely wet!!). The whole process took less than 15 minutes and she looked and smelled beautiful.

Hi Sharon, absolutely. However, we recommend simply using the Pet Mitt with only water.
Ya and the towel is like 40 50 $$, no thanks! Just get a regular microfiber towel.

It's not a normal microfiber towel. You're paying for the quality and the silver (baclock.)
