As an auto detailer this is essential info. I spend a lot of money on high quality towels. I did not know about the 140 degrees that is great info. I will kick up the heat a little bit. Everything else is spot on from my experience. Thanks

Did your towels get messed up? I learned from Larry of AMMO that even if temperatures don't reach 140, your towels will be negatively impacted.

Awesome video and awesome mic. If I dont have a dryer, then I assume rubbing it on a plastic/glass stick would also give it back its static charge? I would appreciate if anyone has experience with this.
I was wondering why my cloths were worse after washing! Thank YOUUUU for this! Took notes for a better microfiber maintenance process.

Thanks for the vid. I ruined a bunch of microfiber towels after washing them and putting a fabric softener sheet in the dryer. Whatever it left on the towels would transfer over to my car windows. I have washed them over and over but it won't come off the towels. So that is why I am here looking @ vids to see what liquid detergent I can use on my new microfiber towels. I was thinking of using SalSuds from Dr. Bronners, what do you think?
I bought some pricey microfiber towels that had directions to boil them if they got too gunky. The hot water releases the embedded yuckiness.
I have been doing it wrong for a long time. Thanks for this video. Now I know why my microfiber hasn't been cleaning as well.

Hi, I was wondering if it is okay to use wool dryer balls when drying microfiber towels?
Already have dozens of microfiber cloths, that apparently I have been washing and drying wrong. Are these ruined or can I just start using this process and they’ll be OK to use and work properly? Thank you for the video.
How to keep them before washing in a solution like vinegar water or dry? It's ok to wash after a week with accumulated microfiber ? Thanks.
I love your clean cut clear videos. thank you. now for my question, I hate the feel of microfiber on my hands. But they work, so... Is there a Microfiber that you would recommend that is better than others and can you use cleaners, etc. with them, or just plain water? thanks.

Wish I knew his recommendation for best microfiber cloth
Isn't your dryer going to have residue from previous uses of dryer sheets? Would it be a good idea to maybe run the dryer empty on hot temperature, maybe put in an old towel to clean that stuff out?
Since detergents have oils in them I just stick them in a bag with isopropyl alcohol. It absorbs oils and cleans them just fine and the alcohol evaporates quickly
What if I only have 1 Microfiver towl? :P
Thank you. Is it bad to dry them on an outdoor clothesline?

You are welcome! If it’s a hot summer day and the sun is directly shining on them, I would worry about them getting to hot. You would probably be better off hanging them to dry in a laundry room.
Not sure if you've done this yet but can you do a video about cleaning electronics and screens? I always need to clean my phone and laptop but never sure if I'm doing it the right way or if I'm actually destroying it.

I'm in a pinch. I want to use my microfiber clothes tomorrow but they need to be washed. If I use regular detergent this time but go back to the one you suggest (which is the one I used before but I'm out now) will that work. O does one time washing with regular ruin the clothes. I'm over thinking how to type this out so I hope I;m being clear.

I have a question that maybe stupid but is it necessary to clean them before using them? I have a big cleaning job coming up and I want to use fresh brand new microfiber towels should I wash them first? Or will they work just as good straight out of the package

Sounds like washing by hand would be best, don't want to use a washing machine for a couple of microfibre cloths on their own, would work out way too expensive, so I'll wash them by hand, but thanks for the info about what detergent to use !
My biggest problem with my microfiber cloths is what you mentioned about stuff sticking to them. Now that I know better I was wondering if there's a way I can remove all the debris from the towels I have so I can start anew? Or am I better off just getting new towels. Thanks!
@CleanWithConfidence
Жыл бұрын
You just have to pick out the debris with you fingers one piece at a time👍
@springfling49

Or use needle nose tweezers to pull out the stuff. You can renew your microfiber products while watching a movie or television program at home while removing the debris.

my mf towels sheds tiny fibers all over when cleaning glass. then it’s so difficult to remove them from the glass. are these towels destroyed? Should i trash them? I’ve washed them over and over and still occurs.
Thanks man, just wanted to confirm what I've read.

Time to get new cloths I guess lol
Great tips, I never knew this and most of your / the instructions are actually printed on huge labels on each cloth I own. Go figure {:>) Thanks for forcing me to wise up.

Most microfiber towels say yo wash in cold water. But it confuses me now if hot water is best to wash dirty cloths and towels? I need more in-depth video answers of this topic.

I already answered your question. Microfiber melts at 140 F. As long as you stay below that you are good.
I was boiling water and pouring it on my microfibre cloths in a bucket 😩😂ffs
Ha it’s called a hot water tank. What is really is, is a cold water heater. Saying hot water heater is like calling a dryer and dry clothes dryer. 😉🫶🏻
