51" span is giant now ??? I have flown models that have bigger stabilizers. 16 foot wingspan is closer to GIANT. This is just a foam toy, and it's full of stability aids. Even a blind person could fly this.

For a noob, 51" is giant. You obviously forgot where you started for RC planes. Probably less than 51" it's not the size of the toy, it's how you use it. Maybe one day Kevin will be flying a 1/4 scale Cessna, but like every RC pilot, you've got to start somewhere.

I've only ever flow flixed wing los and I'd say he's maybe a little better than me, or more daring, I rarely crash. Dude is sandbagging saying he doesn't fly planes. He has at least some stick time. Also heli guys can convert a lot of that "lock into the cockpit" focus right over. Can't confuse throttle with collective though, that's very bad. Go to punch away from the ground and just accelerate in...

Yes Kev! I knew you could do it! Loops, rolly pollies, inverted flight, even got a knife edge in there (for sec anyway). You got this dude! One tip though, try knife edge and some level 4 point rolls with some more altitude. I think you would have been able to recover if you had some more time to correct. Keep it man, you are doing awesome!

A great video Kev! From what we saw on the simulator and the amount of wind I thought you were doing great. Even that knife edge at the end was wicked till the wind bashed you. You would have pulled it if you had a little distance between you and the ground. Kev were you ever into competition helicopter flying? Some of the things you had that doing literally blew my mind. Could you please throw a go pro on it or that plane or both the next video you make with them. We don’t need to see the whole flight through it but I’m sure you could get some super sweet shots to cut too throughout. Recent fan but straight up addicted!!

Hilarious... You are a natural pilot !! I was the same.. I got told off on the rc groups forums many years ago when I told some dudes there that I bought a yak 54 as my first plane.. They said you wont be able to fly it, and your gonna crash it, I took it out and flew it for 3 months before I actually got bored of it and used the electronics in my next plane.. Granted there might be some people who will struggle with something aerobatic for a first flight, but I didn't have that problem, I actually find calm planes the worst, because you get lazy and sometimes they fly so slow you almost forget which way its facing...

Hey Kev, try this setting on the plane. 3D planes are very twitchy when ruders have full movement. So programm your radio with two flight profiles on a switch. First one where the ruder only can travel the half way and add some expo around 30. That gives you more controll and you will be still able to do acrobatics. And if you want to have full ruder movement, hit the switch.

Hey Kev, just so you know, a trick to flying RC planes is to make very small slow movements in the sticks, that way you don't crash

Great job! Lil more time on the Sim and you will be killing it! Check out Extreme Flight models and DA motors. Low and slow is where it's at. High Energy will be a bit. Heli skills are off the chart!

You certainly went for it! I would never fly a new model less than two mistakes high. I do the knife edge flying away from me so I can set it up to fly away when I'm done. I built my own Edge 540 and have flown it a dozen times, but still have not flown inverted less than 20 feet from the ground! You're lucky you just busted the prop and a bit of the gear. My plane would probably be in many more pieces.

My first RC plane was a micro 3D foamy (UM 4-site), the absolute last plane someone would recommend learning to fly with, but when you’re just naturally skilled you can skip all the boring steps of learning to fly. Lol

Quick tip when making a turn, keep the turn coordinated by adding a little bit of rudder with your aileron for whichever way your turning as well as some up elevator to prevent altitude loss. I just began laughing when I saw you on the sim, I knew the planes fate😂😂 but there’s only one way to learn

Yep those 400mm Warbirds are so much fun and so little worries and almost indestructible. I hit a goal post, broken wing, flying again 10 mins later with some UHU. Caught my Cub many times. Hit camera, myself so many times with fly pasts within inches. Dogfights no problem, even if they hit. Cheap as chips. Yet as you say less worries, and for me more fun. I enjoy seeing your other stuff too.
