Non Stop Mud Marlin Action from Shore! (Bat Rays)
The shore bite has been tough but the rays are always down to play when you need to go after something that pulls a little drag. Anchovies on a fish finder was the ticket. Simple fishing

Where in Mission Bay?
It's a rayday at the beach .
Chunk and plunk with bait in the kelp has been working for some rock fish . Shore halibut sorta tough but seen two legals of late come off the pier pilings one on a lucky craft anchovy the other on a plain old white zoom fluke drop shot. Stripers are MIA right now.

Yeah the Striper have been impossible to find. The offshore halibut bite has been on fire though, hopefully the September shore bite will be good when they move in.

@@thesantacruzsurfcaster6231 Hope the kayak service is going well for you.
Very interesting that you never wader wade far out into the surf. But you catch many more fish than those that do. Why? Why? Where you fish? When you fish? Or just you the fisher??
I've caught 103 lbs sturgeon on my 8'6 lamiglas on 16lbs line.

@@kombaster9398 was at Vallejo rock wall on a boat caught on a size 8 live bait hook, 16# magnathin line, 8'6" lamaglas rod rod, Shimano 3500 Baitrunner reel and a pile worm, it took 1 1/2 hr to land and landed it a mile away from where I hook it. was trying to catch a striper,This was in 1996. My other PB on 16# , 37# salmon, 34# striper, 32# halibut.

Just head west ! But hurry fishing is good right now
Water looked somewhat dirtier than usual there. Seems you never get series of waves there; why? Deep? I like that rod holder!
What beach is this at?

I’m the beginner for fishing. Your video is really nice and impressive. a dumb question: Do I need a fishing license when I do surf fishing?
