Join Kristyn Rose as you relax back into this 30 minute non sleep deep rest (NSDR) practice to bring you into a powerfully restorative state of deep sleep with awareness. This guided meditative experience is designed to help bring you into a deep state of relaxation and healing. With awareness still present, you'll guided into the deepest regenerative states of deep sleep, floating effortlessly between wakefulness and sleep. This practice promises to bring your mind into a deeply relaxed yet wakeful state so that you can emerge feeling calm, rested, restored, and at peace - ready to step back into your day transformed and renewed.
Non sleep deep rest is a scientific term that refers to the light altered state of consciousness that arises in the practice of yoga nidra or conscious sleep. It is in these deep states of peaceful relaxation where one can calm the mind, relax the body, and restore the nervous system back to balance. Enjoy this practice anytime and anywhere.
Explore setting your Sankulpa or an intention, a body scan, and psychic Nadi Shoddhana or alternate nostril breathing to help bring your body and mind back into balance.

Dear Kristyn, your videos have been such a blessing together with a six minute journal that I keep since September last year. I can truly call myself in general a good sleeper now whereas I have always been a bad sleeper since the age of 8. I am now 52 years young and yoga nidra in the afternoon together with writing at the start and end of the day have helped me calm my mind ❤. So thank you and all the best for 2023 for you! Thank you for what you do. Out of all the yoga nidra vids I searched on KZread I like yours the best. Sadly my brain won't let up asking questions and I get stuck. Like why don't you use the name of the fingers? The index finger to me is the second finger....it doesn't make sense and that's a problem for me unfortunately. Also I have yet to find a Yoga Nidra meditation where I get time enough to actually feel into my intention for three breaths without being talked over. That would be my wish for your next yoga nidra!! ❤

Hi Regina dear, I'm so sorry that KZread insists on blasting listeners with ads at the end of a yoga nidra practice. You can turn off 'auto-play' which will just begin to run the next video (with the ad at the beginning) right away when this recording ends. This might support you. Thank you, Krystin, this was lovely. I am a huge fan of yoga nidra but I never feel alive with sensation, nor any of the tingling sensations that are always alluded to. I do my best to be aware of the various body parts but there isn't much detail there. Any thoughts?

I invite you to trust the practice Carolina. It takes time to re-establish this sacred connection between body and mind. The more you practice, the more you continue to bring awareness down into the body, the more you'll start to make those connections. Sensations can arise in the very subtle or the more obvious. Remember, every practice is unique to you. Stay curious and trust that your body knows how to rest, for your body knows how to heal. Namaste.

@@KristynRoseYoga Thank you, Kristyn. Perhaps I am just too impatient. I started working on a very dysregulated nervous system about two years ago. I've noticed some changes, definitely, but it just seems so slow this process. Coming out of freeze takes a while! I'll keep going and trust the process as you suggest. Thanks again! The gradually speaking ever softer thing: does that work for people? I don’t know, if it’s ADHD or some idiosyncrasy of mine but when the volume drops too far, I suddenly have to strain to listen and that rips me right out any relaxation :( Is there anyone who doesn’t do that? I’m willing to pay for a playlist where that does’t happen. I like your voice and cadence otherwise and the script is well made but that was counterproductive again today.

The intention here is to soften the voice to allow the practitioner to deepen into light altered states of consciousness and yet, it can be different for each person. I would to make a conscious effort to support you here and create a yoga nidra with voice that stays at a steady and supportive volume for you.
